Livingstone set the hire bikes up. They merely arrived in time for boris to put his name on.
Boris did scrap bendy buses and replace them with Boris buses.

    There’s a theme here isn’t there?

He got to see a lot of free sport at the olympics?

The early ones had no disc and messed up clearance do only room for a 2.0. You had to pay on one by cheque but You did get a free turnip in the box.

I used one for a while as my only mountain bike with 1×8 and a z1 drop off. It was quite fun. It descended so well probably because it was so heavy.

Luddites are much misunderstood by popular history. As a social movement they were not silly nehanderthals as painted now. They were reacting to changes in technology and work patterns because they could see the way it was going and didn’t like it. They were worried that these changes were not in fact ‘progress’ merely change that negatively affected their livelihoods and the way of life of a wide section of society to the benefit of the narrower interests of owners and rentier class. They were conscientiously objecting to worsening terms and conditions rather like the junior Doctors today.

I’m amazed how damning the jury’s verdict is. There’s nothing that does not come down on the side of the fans is there? Police, ambulance, stadium, engineers all **** up. Police to the degree that it was criminal. Wow. That’s a pretty deep cover up for 27 years.

Since we’ve stuck inghams letter up, boris johnsons is worth a look too. Horrible.

If you’re in the north east speak to dales bike centre.
If you’re in the north west it’s the calf
If you’re in the south speak to Stu at riders cycles in skipton.
Worth digging out the gpx file for stu’s dales 300k too as there’s some great tracks on there.

I’ve done it twice, first time had a couple of puncture disasters early doors and ended up right at the back but all the descents were clear. lastime rode mid pack and the descents were a congested minceathon. id suggest taking a picnic, maybe a beer, set off from machylenth and then kick back after the first climb and sit in the sun for an hour to let everyone get out of the way.

You have to understand that where this has been done people don’t get out much. This is damn radical. Think vicar of dibley and you’ve got it.

The start of arenberg was super greasy yesterday even before rain last night.I fear a crash at the arenberg today, first over could just go down Making it a lottery. Rest of the pave is dry. Mons en pevele is muddy but it’s tacky/grippy mud.

The straw mannimg has started so one last post on this.
Two people have had sex who shouldn’t have.
The Victorians would have blamed the girl for tempting him with her body. We blame him for tempting her with his fame/cash.
The reality is they both knew they were doing wrong and the biggest victim here is his wife and child who will suffer far more than the girl.

    The reality???

No, The reality is the police thought one person had done something very wrong. A jury agreed with them on most of it. He’s now got six years.

Mine arrived today. no root vegetables, no superfluous rack mounts and no fundental measurement that’s accidentally a bit small. Is brant really involved?

They are gloriously well made, lovely material, true to size. I’d like maybe more taper from the knee but that’s a point of taste. Thanks for the tea bag.

Alternative view is his success is based on not paying a fair rate of tax or pay and thus transferring what should be overheads of running his business to us the taxpayer and wider society. E.g. to fund in work benefits so we do have a say. A big say.

there’s some delightful opinions being expressed above. :?

i think what this case is suggesting is the protection the law offers to women is improving and that’s brilliant. Its miles ahead of where society was in the 70s but its still ahead of some of the attitudes on here.

Cathedral and the shopping centre will take a morning then as above get a train to somewhere good. It’s the dullest place. Oh and dress incredibly smartly and prepare to judged by everyone on your sartorial choices.

SRAM 1x really comes into its own for cross. So much easier having just 1 go harder/easier button compared to juggling front and rear mechs in shimano or campag.

The problem with getting it as a length is that you would need the flexible section at the end (at least on a road bike you would) where you can’t accommodate the curve of the bars with compressionless brake cable outer. The link looks fairly decent.

as someone who has set up 2 cable disc roadbikes with compressionless outer i respectfully disagree.

i like challenge tubs. i have used their limus mud tread happily for a number of seasons. i have not used a fango but understand the internet consensus is its ‘alright’ but not much different to a grifo.

To note: challenge used to have a bad quality control reputation. they are now much better. However, last time i bought a challenge tub from planet x, guess what? it was very very old stock and it had bad QC problems! id be buying from hargroves or wiggle who you know have new stock.
