I’ve assisted for a fair few bilateral hips over the years, surgeon will only do bilateral if he/she thinks patient can handle the post op. Mostly done on young ish fit people. Hopefully surgeon will be able to do it through a 2-3 inch incision which helps with recovery. It will be a bit of bitch for a month or so but least you only have to through it once. Physio most important as others have said.
    Good luck with it

I did my own and it looks better than that, when I took it to the mechanic to build the bike up he pissed himself laughing at the poor quality job I’d done, so I wouldn’t be paying for that

20+ years working in the operating theatre if I was anywhere near retiring age I’d walk out the door never to return if I was retired like **** would I come back! Had my my vaccine on the 31st to be told I won’t be getting 2nd dose for another 12 weeks as first dose gives ‘ample’ protection slightly peeved about that as I feel iam being put at maximum risk, helping treat trauma patients with unknown covid status, spending hours on itu proning and unproning patients, going out to wards helping intubate patients, sitting in back of ambulances with covid + patients transferring to other hospitals, wife does the same job so we work alternate 12 hr shifts. Pretty f%#$ed off with all tbh. Sorry rant over

Titanfall 2 is one of the best fps and usually can be had for under a £5

Iam front line Nhs and not particularly keen to get a rushed vaccine pumped into me and many of the surgeons I work with are saying they won’t be having it until it’s been out 6months+

Have a look at Ali dymock on YouTube he gives a really comprehensive guide on building a garden room, I managed a small one this summer with no previous experience and was pretty pleased how it turned out

Boo i is a fatty, booked the fork in with j tech for the zocchi coil conversion and apparently at 97kg(kitted up) the extra firm spring won’t be enough for my lardy arse, so smash pot or keep as air

I’ve had a bike on pink bike for about 6 months get lots of messages asking if it’s still for sale, can I split, do I want to swap etc I’ve had one guy message me every month saying is it still available. Finally got a guy coming to view it tonight and wants to pay with PayPal good and services so hopefully it will finally sell

Got holiday insurance with our Natwest account been trying to get through to them since yesterday but line always engaged suppose lots of people with same issue or stuck abroad trying to sort themselves out.
Not a bad idea ringing the holiday company and seeing if they will let us pay the balance closer to August, can’t imagine to many people booking holidays at the moment

It often crosses my mind when iam out on my 08/09 trek remedy if and when it cracks what the physical damage to myself will be. My other two bikes are older still a ltd edition yeti 4x from 04/5 and pdc 825 from 2005 , those two are pretty overbuilt tho so hopefully won’t fail. Tempted to take the pdc to Finale this year

I’d been thinking about cause last time I was at Bpw I seemed to land every drop to flat rather than hit the transition, iam riding 10 yr old lyrics and that pink bike vid has made me question how much longer my lyrics will last if I keep riding like a donkey

    eddie

I’d say go for it, aslong as you don’t mind the extra weight. I’ve been thinking of doing the same after seeing how much single crown’s flex on those pink bike slow mo vids of enduro bikes being hucked to flat.

Thanks for the responses very helpful and reassuring, should I contact building control and let them know or just try and find a sparks willing to check everything?

He gave me a niceic installation certificate I think it’s paperwork he had left over from when he ran his company because neither the certificate ref number or his old company come up on the niceic website when I check them.
The invoice for the work he carried out wasn’t on his old company’s paperwork that I had before so I think he’s closed that down now and just working by himself

Can they certify even when everything is behind paint/plaster and kitchen units? I was under the impression that certifityig someone else’s work when you haven’t seen the install?
I don’t have a problem with the standard of his work seems pretty neat and tidy to my eyes, when I first used him he had a big electrical company employing a few guys so yes he must of known the work would be noticfiable, not sure why he didn’t say
