    Plus disruption installing it all.

They could do it now whilst there’s a 50mph limit as they’re changing all the central reservation.

Why not just have a variable speed limit?

Can’t see the justification for making the speed limit 60mph at 7am on a Sunday morning

I’m a bit disappointed that we’re seeing the culprits already. I liked that in season 1 it didn’t really become clear until quite far through the season.

No noticeable difference to fuel consumption with our bikes on the towbar rack (Toyota Corolla)

Towbar + fitting and rack cost £260 in total

The faff of putting a bike on the roof for me being 5’4″ is far greater than putting bikes on the tow bar. YMMV

We have a 3 bar rack but only carry 2 bikes most of the time so no juggling required to get them to fit.

My mum took her car to Halfords to take advantage of their “We Fit” offer. They admitted defeat and returned the money.

I’d like to see some more intelligent translation of the subtitles too please.

Other half (Danish) refuses to watch with me as I’m always stopping and saying “that’s not what they said, what did they say really?”

Retarded English Anthropologist translated to British Anthropologist is the best one so far

I’d like to see some more intelligent translation of the subtitles too please.

I’ve not actually watched the Killing

Are they showing it as two episodes back to back again?

I would prefer if they spread them out a bit more tbh, over too quickly otherwise.

My sister (in Australia) and my mum have both got one and both love them.

I don’t ‘get’ the point of them.

We got our kitchen from ikea but worktops from worktop express as ikea didn’t do the length we needed.

I was hesitant as we’d had some worktops in a a place we rented that were very badly stained/marked but we treated ours well initially and they’ve been pretty much maintenance free (kitchen’s been in just under 2 years)

I’m not sure at what point airport security deems something to be a solid rather than a liquid, but judging by the jars at security in stansted, marmite falls into the liquid category.

You use to be able to quadruple up Tesco clubcard vouchers for narrow boat holidays, not sure whether this is still the case.

I sent a 1 kg parcel airsure (tracked) to australia which cost £18 pounds, signed for would have been £12. Posted on Tuesday 10th, arrived Monday 16th December.

Generally for lighter weight parcels royal mail is cheapest.

Cheapest will depend on size and weight of parcel.

Both sets of parents out of the country, so just the two of us this year. Christmas dinner and presents this evening (we mix and match Danish and English bits), nice breakfast tomorrow then a long walk/bike ride.

Is there anywhere I can watch the first series of the bridge without buying a dvd or subscribing to pay tv?

The Bridge season 1 is being shown again on BBC4 starting 3.30am on 23/12.

Or a one month free trial of netflix (not sure if that counts as subscribing to paid tv))

I never realised how much a turkey cost until recently (we normally have duck and gammon). If I was spending that much money on meat I’d be buying 42 day aged steak 🙂

See i was told something different. Touching your toes is related to flexibility (but not fitness) but other leg movements are related to pelvis and hips, e.g. putting feet behind head

Only instruction is please send your cv and covering letter to email@address

I always thought cv was fact based and the covering letter was for the ‘I think i would be great at this job because…’ bit but I’ve only ever applied for jobs that required application forms before.

Dalby is closer in mileage terms but probably takes slightly longer to get to than Sherwood pines. I’d still go to Dalby

No, have never been able to touch my toes with legs straight, even as a child.

I’ve never found it hindered me in any way at all, I have knees that bend that allow access to my feet 🙂

in some Scandinavian countries (i forget which) they have recognised this and follow up on a serious sprain with physio and the use of balance boards to not only build up the strength again but to improve proprioception, the sense of body positioning from the individuals point of view.

I got this on the NHS

The airline example is not really the same thing, that’s two tickets for two journeys and it’s easy to see the advantage of paying more for one ticket.

My example is one ticket for one journey versus two tickets for one journey. There are no changes to be made, one direct journey on exactly the same train at the same times.
