Used the last of the blackberries we froze last year to make apple and blackberry crumble.

We had fieldfares in the garden yesterday, a sure sign that it’s a bit cold out.

You should be able to do what you need to in Notepad ++ there’s a replace in all opened documents option and you can search with regular expressions.

What exactly do you want to replace?

Something like this? – appends a to all found filenames

The local woods here have a stick and flick policy. It doesn’t stop people bagging and depositing said bags around the nearest waymarker post.

Worth going up into the national park, often it can be above the clouds up there when it’s cloudy down on the coast and vice versa. Lots of great walking. This was February time

    This

    and this

    were the same day

    I love those knitted dinosaurs

Crochet, but thanks. They’re breeding :-)

Just looking at the certification process so I can sell them, although not sure it’s going to be worthwhile

I was in a non-fault accident in my dad’s car as a named driver.

At my insurance renewal I declared the accident which added £180 pounds to my renewal quote (which was already higher than the previous years).

My dad was also a named driver on my insurance and I had to drop him as he had to declare a claim in the previous year and it was the only way I could keep my insurance at a sensible price with another insurer. Online systems seemed to count my accident and his claim as two separate incidents rather than one.

Really annoying just because some stupid 18 year old who’d just passed their test didn’t realise that you have to wait for a green filter arrow if there’s oncoming traffic, green alone does not mean you have right of way.

    1 – Are you a vegan?
2 – Are you interested in vegan food/lifestyle?
3 – Do you feel vegans are adequately provided for in the highlands?
4 – Would you entertain eating in a vegan restaurant or cafe based in one of the popular highland destinations

    1. No

    2. No

    3. Don’t know

    4. No, gluten free is restriction enough without restricting further

We bought a log cabin kit from Tuin, which functions as a workshop plus storage shed. The log cabin was ~£1800 last year. We also insulated roof and floor but that was separate to what was supplied by Tuin.

Took us a day to build up to roof level then another day to do the roof. No more complicated than Lego

Swimming’s a funny one eh. If I go to the pool I’m generally the fastest there or thereabouts. Not a humblebrag, because I’M ACTUALLY RUBBISH! Put me in with a club or someone with actual decent technique and they’re going half as fast again.

    </span>

Yep, typically the ‘fast’ lane at the public session I attend is much slower than the ‘slow’ lane at the masters club I used to go to (and am avoiding going back to until I can at least keep up with the slow lane!)

Swimming is not really related to floating, I cannot lie on my back in a pool and float (can just about manage in the sea) but I can swim just fine. Legs sinking is often poor core strength if body position is ok otherwise.

Definitely agree it’s 99% technique and very little fitness. I was a club swimmer in my youth and to swim lengths at an ok pace (30 minutes a mile) is about the same effort as walking for me. The problem then is it’s hard to increase fitness by swimming on your own in public sessions.

Payment came through today for unpaid pay (no redundancy due) so pretty good service.

Counting underway, so far have had

    – 6 sparrows

    – 2 starlings

    – 2 blackbirds

    – 1 wren

Doing my count at some point tomorrow, although will probably only be sparrows reported.

At this time of year we only get more interesting visitors when there’s snow on the ground.

If you really want to get on the naughty list at Tesco abandon your self scan when the queue for to checkout is 10 strong and go through a regular till.

Why would you expect it to evolve?

There would only be a selective pressure if there was no way of grooming. As there are a variety of grooming options the more hirsute are no less likely to produce offspring than others, so no selective pressure to be less hairy.

We’ve always used autoreisen on the canary islands. Cars tend to not be as polished as from other companies but no excess as standard.

You need to log on to the tesco clubcard site and ‘purchase’ Evans vouchers with your clubcard vouchers. You’ll then get an email ~24 hours later with a voucher code you can use

They’ve been pretty good at refunding us when the voucher didn’t work.

    Voucher has already been used

Bugger, just changed 20 quid for 2x value on Sunday

Is it just full price stuff that vouchers can be exchanged for, or sales items as well?

Previously was useable against everything (just treated like a gift card) don’t imagine it will change

TNF traction mules better than tent mules imo. Rubber sole so can pop outside in them.

I wouldn’t call it quiet, but I don’t think it’s excessively loud. Ours stand directly on concrete floor though.

As above, we have an 8kg ecobubble (not sure of exact model but it’s a few years old now)

I had an adverse reaction to some antibiotics some years back, i went slightly yellow and they kept an eye on me for a bit but no lasting impact.

Fingers crossed for a similar result

I’m not asking about claiming as a creditor, I’m asking about statutory payments that are claimed from the insolvency service.

With the commute it will mean getting down to Loughborough (Stanford Hall) by 7.15 which hopefully will miss the traffic?

Down the M1? Could still hit traffic that sort of time, you’re probably looking to leave around 6:10 am to guarantee getting there for 7:15.

The return is likely to be more of the issue. It’s taken me an hour to get from Loughborough to the M1 over the past months
