TF Tuned says they won’t service and send back to non eu countries (Austrlia). They used to.
Loco – do you deal with servicing of Push’ed shocks from overseas?

PUSH’ed by TF Tuned a few years ago. The frame is a nicolai helius cc. I must check the settings that came back from TF but from memory the air pressure they recommended was insanely high…..

Are you based in Oz? I just bought a Trek Jet 16″ wheels for my four yr old. It has many features specifically designed for young, small riders. He loves it and because its quite lite can pedal up hills and gets around much better than on his 12″ repco clunker which weighed a ton!

20km to work and 20km home – i ride down my road past freshwater beach, then manly beach, over the spit, past taronga zoo, through cremorne and neutral bay, then on to the harbour bridge and in to the CBD, work is next to Centrepoint tower …… can you tell where it is yet?

they are folding UST sb8’s. It was changing a flat that was most difficult, could not get the bead over the rim edge to get the tube out….it took two of us 20mins on the trail. I’ve been riding for nearly 20yrs and never had this much trouble changing a flat!

should have researched this more, buying rims is not to much of an expense but getting them built is – stans seemed like a good buy based on rider reviews but i didnt pick up much on difficulty changing tyres…..wish id stuck with the DT rims

whatever it is…..you miss it a little when you move away….living in Aus for past 6 years and there are many things that are missed from the UK culture: footy, humour, music, quality tv, ……i’m sure these all contribute towards ‘UK culture’.

i concur with a previous poster, if you get ill, have an op etc, it really takes it out of you and i found it difficult to get back to previous weight and fitness after a 3 month layoff from exercise due to op – being 39 has something to do with that. A more serious knee op at 27 took 6-7 months to recover from but came back to be fitter, trimmer etc. Have to work twice as hard now to maintain a reasonable level of fitness

was at the scg yesterday, slow going but great atmosphere, the aussies have not got a clue when it comes to getting a good song going to spur the team on…also they are so easily bated. Good day, spoiled by poor weather in the arvo.

Just been for a ride no 1 with the rebas and have adjusted +/- to 65 and 55 respectively, it seems quite low and still leaves a good inch on non used travel up to top of stanchion. Are lower air pressures recommended to get the most oout the fork??

Moved here 6 years ago…live in freshwater, sydney. We bought a house, at great expense, about 300m from the beach. Now surf most days, a good riding and racing scene, access to trails is good but not as easy as UK but plenty to keep all riding styles entertained. The coffee is excellent, schools are great, our son was born here and is having a fantastic time growing up, beach, bikes, bush walks, holidays to whitsundays, NZ…..so much to do!! Work is not easy, aussies and in particular sydney workers have a strong work ethic….be prepared to put in the hours and dont whinge about it….nobody likes a whinging pom!!
I look back and think we made the smart move, my job in Bristol engineering consultancy would have been at risk and I probably would have lost it…so i’m glad i avoided all that here.

Will we come back, i’m not sure…we miss things but as has been said nothing that you cant replace or do without. Would i miss the adopted lifestyle, i think so…..weather is good, the beach and coastal walks, not to mention the coffee are great.

I moved out with all expenses paid, job lined up etc, it was a no brainer…if you dont like it you can always move back…go for it!!!!
