Used to be Notts but Now Derby. Ambergate is the mutts nuts ( its 30 mins from J25 M1 where I am so I class it as my local) and you can ride from shining cliff for an all dayer up the high peak trail round carsington a good 45 mile loop all in. Lots of flat stuff on the River Trent and Canals, bestwood also ace, sherwood forest also good
