I presume youve already taken the axle out? On mine it really did need quite a pull to release it for the first time, after that it becomes easy.

ive got a bullit and a superlight, ridden both at the welsh trail centres, the 4 inch is spot on up and down, the six inch is a biiiitch to climb but this is more than compensated by the downhills, ripping it up big time, I keep both though cos im greedy

springer spaniel, happy, energetic, good with people, loves swimming running, and will follow me on the bike for a good 10 miles. may eat sunglasses, digital cameras and the tops off my hunter wellies between the ages of 0-6 months though! needs training and lots of exercise

superlight all the way, ive ridden loads of different biikes in the last 20 years, treks, schwinns, konas, specialized stumpys, enduros the lot, and the SC is the one bike that genuinely does it all, you really dont need much more than 100mm travel anyway unless youre hammering the alps, in which case you will be wanting a bullit………..

id say they were 07’s and that looks a bargain provided the steerer is long enough. I got 07 races and thery ace, better than fox f80rl they replaced. If your riding pretty hard might worry about the strtength of the carbon steerer though
