Nice cars the mk1 is good in a straight line but no porsche boxter in the bends. Im fancying a 350 55plate as soon as i can rustle together 8k mk 2 which have much better handling. Can recommend mk 2 mx5 as well. I dont cut hair for a living tho!

No idea where it goes but some of this is surely to blame:
    Bike bits
    Weekends away
    Guitar stuff
    The pub
    Land rovers and audis
    The restaurant
    Gigs
    Wine
    The other pub
    Waitrose
    Springer spaniel
    Garden centre
    Isa
    Shares
    Savings account
    Holiday funds
    Tk maxx

My plan is to have the mortgage paid off at 55 (im37) put 10% of my salary into a standard life pension for the next 25 years and not plan on retiring, i love my profession and will keep on it till i croke but as old age creeps in will cut down to 2or3days a week from age 60 and spend my spare time fishing, shooting and keeping pigs.
I shall definitely be living for today though, who knows whats round the corner! Dont fancy being the richest corpse in the cemetery

Jeez thats a proper bummer, is it just me or does this sort of thing seem more commonplace just lately? Sign of the times perhaps?

Only problem i had with deores was a leaky nipple when i bled them and contaminated the pads, they turned into a squeeky non brake fest until i learnt a natty little trick of toasting the pads on an naked flame to burn off the brake fluid now brake power is better than ever!

Bog std deores on my blur, xtr rotors and some clarks sintered pads and cant fault em. Xtr cranks however are a proper cut above

Bought my first roadbike last year spesh allez off ebay for £400 and its a great bike, just enough to whet mymappetite for a bit of road biking and takes 10 mins off my commute to the office. Nothing really to upgrade except maybe the wheels when funds permit!

Had loads of bikes my current fave is the SC Blur lt 07, despite its frequent propensity for wobbbly bearing syndrome ( and subsequent cost!) tho my overall fave was my 98 explosif, sadly ebayd with much regret about 4 yrs ago

£600!!! that’d keep me in beans for about 7 years… ill stick to my stove top.

what I mean is, why the need for a fancy machine with individual pods and all that plastic waste, which from the limited stuff available that Ive tasted aint that much of an improvement over instant, I guess Im just old school with my stove top espresso pot ( cost me £1 at a yard sale 5 years ago!) and endless selection of coffee to go in it

    earl_brutus

I just dont get the nespresso machine concept, you might as well just buy a jar of instant nescafe IMHO
