After a Canelo rematch, I’d like to see ggg move up and try it in the super middleweight division. Looking at them I’d say canelo is more of a light middleweight, who is fighting at the higher middleweight.

ggg v degale would be a good fight.

Looking at ggg though I’m not sure he is big enough to go up a weight, and unfortunately there are no hearns, hopking etc in this current middleweight division for legacy fights.

Temptation is to head off from the ridge, but you need to stick close to the ridge, maybe just off the top and on snowdons side if you havent done it before. I broke mine in early February. Luckily didnt need an op but was in a sling for 6 weeks.

I was riding road back at around 7 ish weeks, offroad after about 10 weeks. I had some nhs physio done. The only lasting problem, which is much better now, was some pain when sleeping on my shoulder. For the first 8-10 weeks I couldnt sleep on it at all and had to sleep on my back.

There is nothing wrong in specialising but I’m unsure how many earthquake opportunities there are in the UK. Unless you don’t mind moving abroad.

How about just a standard civil engineering degreee or masters degree instead and keep your options open?

I like strava to keep a record of my rides and to see if I’m getting faster. I like to compare my rides with those done last year.

Not into the the thumbsup and kom on it though. So many things can influence the kom, such as group riding on the road, ebikes, tailwind etc as well as fitness, weight…….

Ill have a look on the pc to see if its using topo data instead of the barometer data for elevation. Something has happened in the last few weeks as it was consistent before, even if it was consistently wrong.

I dont think it is as good as it has been say 10 years ago. Either we overpay for what we get or those on the continent get a better bargain.

IMO i dont like that the tent slopes down towards your head, giving minimal room above your head when lying on a mat. Not a nice place to be on a rainy day.

Id go for something slightly bigger and heavier.

I can kind of see what the fuss is about. People have bought SC V10’s with 27.5 wheels like their idols, only for SC to now start making them in 29er guise. Not cheap to change SC bikes. If 29er takes off, what happens to the value of the 27.5’s?

Surprised you got battered on a scott mtb marathon. I did most of them last year on a giant carbon hardtail and it was more than fine.

Id personall go for a trek procaliber 9.8 if you have the funds.
