    Is that £26k take home?

Doubt you could use it with a maxle, as a skewer is supplied with the TT to put on your bike which then clamps into the turbo.. Could be wrong though!

I’ve got the alu version, weights in at around 28.5lbs which I’m happy with. I’m 5’10 and ride a medium.

I’m 5’10” and ride a medium anthem, stem seems like it is around 100mm. There is lockout on the front fork, but I never use it. No lockout on the rear – don’t need

More impressive is for some reason it feels like more than 100mm travel on the downhills.

Except for some standing water its fine and fast. Mid cafe was open today.

I’ve got a TCR advanced 1 and would highly recommend one, even as a 1st roadbike. I use an alu defy as a winter bike as well. Both are compact frames, ie sloping top tube. I’m 5’10” and ride a medium in both.

Anyone purchased one of the 880 magicshines yet? I was thinking of the hope r4 but looks like this is brighter and £70 cheaper.

Absolutely ridiculous if its one word against the other without any other proof. Awaits the full FA report.

If you’ve been there a while a %age bonus would have been a nice gesture, but if you have only joined then mayby not.

I work in the public sector so have to even pay for my works xmas lunch. 😀

Its white on the mountain tops at the moment, trail centers ok though.

Edit: just read your post again, should be ok for hiking if you are experienced.

You can get a multitool that has a detachable chain device, they are very small and worth it for piece of mind imo. Also forgot to mention a tyre patch/sticker as well, they take up no space.

Buy a CO2 pump cannisters instead of a pump, practice using it before taking it out.

I wouldn’t bother with a saddlebag, put everything in the back of a jersey pocket. Use a multitool that has a detachable chain device, spare tube/lever, park patches, chainlink, money and phone.

I got stuck in the snow last year and had to abandon my car and walk around 2 miles in the dark home on an unlit country lane. Lesson learned.

    Nice One.

I’m looking at a winter bike from Winstanleys, how long did they take to deliver?

    No.

Yes I’ve had problems with priority delivery as well and only use the free one now as in most cases its quicker.

    Yes

^^ Are you allowed to discolse someones current pay though, I would have expected that to be private between employer/employee?

I’ve had both for quite a while now but hardly use them anymore. As some said I’d also get the one his mates have. In terms of online gaming, the xbox is in my opinion quite a lot better, the ps3 might have improved in the last year or so since I haven’t used mine much though.

I’d also say its too much for a virgin and if they are reasonably fit you wont enjoy it. I’d build it up a bit first.

How did they choose the 4 of you out of the 50 to start with?

Yes always ask whether it be mtb or road. That is when I’m also cycling.

I’ve just ordered an edge 500 over the weekend, I think the mapping is the only difference but I only need it for training.

Not sure what my max is but regularly get over 180 on rides without pushing to exhaustion, so I’d guess max hr would be slightly higher. Resting hr is around 48.

The blur is a superb bike, you’ll like it. If the genesis is 100mm travel, keep it as well. Always nice to have a few different options.

What Ive done is ensure, while on the hoods, that the handlebar hides the front wheel hub. Theres a youtube video of it out there. I had to buy a longer stem.

Is the epic / or standard battery quite big? Will it fit on the handlebar or stem? Dont want a battery on my frame.

Anyone got more views or better a photo of the hope on the bars and showing the battery mounted?

I generally use tubeless or what they call tubeless ready tyres. Youll need a tubeless valve, this has a rubber plyg on its end when screwed to the rim seals the whole. I think youll need two cups of stans sealant for 2.25, itll say on the sealant how much to insert. Depends with the yellow tape whether the rim is already sealed, it is on my xt wheels, but I needed the yellow tape on my stans flow rims.

I test rode an alu nomad and really liked it. However 160mm travel was too much for me.

    dyls

I wouldn’t bother neither. As said its age and UV exposure that seems to affect the proofig.

    dyls

Probably not working, have you tried using just the usb cable. I’ve had issues before with exposure chargers where they have had to be replaced.

Not really no, use the full suss for the bumpier rides and ht for the smoother ones, sometimes switch over. All good fun!
