A sad jealous type for sure … met people along the way who are never happy with their own lot in life and live consumed by the green eyed monster, it makes for a sad lonely individual usually. Hope you manage to get it removed.

    Cokie +1

Built a Stooge a few months ago (cheers Andy!) and have loved every minute of owning it so far. I have a young family and a fledgling (very busy) business, so time has been limited, but been grabbing 2 hour blasts most evenings and a few day epics – outstanding fun and a pleasure to ride (although mine is 1×10 as opposed to SS) :) :) :)

I quit and as soon as I walked out that building I immediately felt better.
Life is too short. Your health more important. There are plenty of jobs out there

Best thing I ever did, only problem is realising that you should have done it years before :) Good luck buddy..

In work today but all jobs nailed. Just waiting for “father Xmas” to pickup a half dozen kids bikes we’ve yet to go out and a couple of last minute services weve done for desperate road riders, then its off to the pub for a well earnt whisky. Slowly working our way through a huge jar of Quality street gifted to us by a regular customer, nom nom nom! Ready for Chrimbo now, hell of a year! :)

The pic of the Raleigh Mustang earlier brought back memories – that was my first MTB. Heavy old beast but took me everywhere and lots of adventures. Happy days :)

sad news! hope something turns up for your mates in the shop. Its a shame the scumbags have cottoned on to the worth of high end bikes.

My old moggy has very recently had 2 x decayed teeth removed (purely due to her age) – its hard to tell if they are in pain so probs worth a vets visit if it looks no better in a day or two.

My boy just moving up from Rothan to Cnoc14 at Xmas. Both have been purchased 2nd hand (the Rothan from this forum before he was born!) and the Cnoc14 locally. Got lucky with the Cnoc14 as a very kind customer I work with pretty much donated it to the cause! Its a sweet little ride and cant wait to wrap it on behalf of father Christmas! Selling wise, Ebay seems to provide the greatest returns.. although Isla are a very helpfull company (have bought replacement parts directly in the past and was well looked after!) :)

Make that change! – I felt very similar to yourself last year and had been diagnosed with anxiety resulting from my employment at the time. Running a retail outlet single-handedly with very little in the way of support and even less resources, having to lie to customers/suppliers etc – whilst still being expected to appear ‘normal’. Realised I was no longer providing the service I was being paid to (unfair on my employer) and also becoming a bitter person (unfair on myself and family unit). I took stock & listened to the advice of friends and family and left my employment (which I should have done a long time before in hinesight) and setup independantly. Im now loving life again, have had my love of all things bike relit and extremely positive for the future! Always be thankfull for what you have rather than what you dont have is good advice

We allow £50-60 per week (max!) and thats for 2 x adults (one of which is a veggie) and a 3 year old. That budget includes washing liquid etc as well. Carefull planning and limitations on ‘treats’ but we eat healthily and never feel like were going ‘without’ :)

Good advice from the wanderer above, we followed a very similar path. Now have a happy and healthy three year old and will use the same method/products when number 2 comes along! Enjoy.

Seems odd that every so often a shady character comes on, gains trust, rips a few folks off and then vanishes (IWH, This Tony guy etc…) – each and every time absolutely nothing gets done about it! perhaps its the same person (or connected persons) each time?? Horrible feeling though being ripped off – as always hope it works itself out for you guys! Good luck

VW T4 1.9TD here – absolutely love it! Bit the bullet a couple of years ago and sold up a bike to get it alonside some savings. Has rock and roll bed (make sure before you buy thats its a crash tested one if you’re using it with an ISO kids seat etc) also has sink / gas / cooker & fridge (if you’re more a fan of wild camping like we are rather than sites etc make sure you get one that has a fridge that runs on gas – no elec hook up in the middle of nowhere). We love ours, its been camping to the wilds in Wales/festivals and also gets used as a dayvan for days out/rides etc. We have a 2 year old lad who loves it. If you find the right one for youre needs you certainly wouldnt regret it! so much for fun to drive too than our sterile focus (now sold) the T$ is our daily driver also. Good luck & enjoy!
