Another good example is that Most people thing the pyramids have 4 sides, when they actually have 8

Well, unless you’re including the mirror-image identical inverted pyramid that’s underneath the one in this Google Earth view*, I can only count four sides, a very slight, possible deviation in a perfectly straight line along each side of the base does not make it eight sided.

It’s very subtle, but if you look carefully on that google earth picture you can just make out slight lines down the centre of at least 2 sides where the blocks change direction.

Such fine detail make the feat of building it even more impressive IMO.

Thestabaliser – no, there are actually 8 sides to the pyramid, but this can only be seen from above.

Its just another intriguing feature that can’t be explained

There’s loads of interesting articles out there, just google it. Even the ‘ancient alien’ type studies raise some interesting questions.

Another good example is that Most people thing the pyramids have 4 sides, when they actually have 8. When you start digging into it there’s a huge amount of things that can’t be explained at present

Edit, I’m not trolling either, like Euro I find the ancient world very interesting

Mauseleums, Egyptians (slaves thereof), 3000-2000 years ago.

Or did they modify something existing? A lot if research indicates that the structures are much older.

Unless time travel is developed, we’ll never know the answers.

The Mayans are equality as intriguing

I bought a titan 9 inch angle grinder from screwfix and diamond blade for the same task. Cost just over £80 for the lot and worked a treat.

    Explain all what?

Theres loads of unknowns in the ancient world, lots of thoerys but no definitve explanations.

For example nobody knows why the pyramids were actually built, how the egyptians (assuming they built the pyramids) knew the layout of the solar system an so on.

Check your calliper to see if you have a sticky piston on one side

Joking aside, I find ancient Egypt fascinating. It’d be great if they could explain it all in our lifetime…but I can’t see it happening

Booking made, time to do a bit of research on the trails. Any pointers other than strava and trail forks.

Cheers for the advice, going to fine it a go. Is trail forks / strava the best place to research the trails ?

I found putting some thick oil into the air chamber helped greatly with this. I used fox float fluid.

Im assuming the batteries are for the laser and the saw is mains.

For an extra 20 quid I think the evolution one from screwfix is the safer buy. I’ve got the evolution one and can’t fault it, having the ability to cut steel ect with the standard blade is a handy feature too.

I’ve got mini vs on my corsslight with 105 5600 levers . work fine and are much more powerful than the cantis, but they do run very close to the rims and I need an inline cable adjuster so that I can slacken them off to get the wheel out without letting the tyre down

If it’s touching at just one point in the rotation and it’s not a bent disc it must be the hub flange not being flat or something being trapped between the rotor and the flange. Have you got another wheel you can try?

The caliper should have some side to side adjustment if you slacken the two Allen bolts off a bit.

There is a rotor compatibility chart on shimanos website, have a look as you might find that caliper is not compatible with that rotor.

Although it’s looks aren’t for everybody the amount of engineering that’s gone into it is intriguing. All the mods look to have been done pretty well, if they work is a different matter !

I’m no boiler expert but I really struggle to see why that would condem the boiler. I’d be speaking to vailents tech support before committing to a new boiler.

Is the other side of that hole just on the outside of the boiler case or is there some sort of box section there ?
The casing on a gas boiler isn’t supposed to be airtight. It’s a metal box to hide the stuff inside. Can you post up a photo
+1

Surly the case being air tight would be more dangerous, as any leaking gas would get trapped inside

Ive done similar to what you are saying, the only thing I found was that as the soil moisture levels changed over the year the shed would twist slightly and this affected the door. I.e. tight at times loose at others

But this is STW so it needs massive over engineering, therefore I reccokend a 1 meter thick concrete slab on top of piles
