Ok i’ve used Piriform ccleaner and it says its deleted loads of files. I already had AVG anti-virus software and done a full computer scan which has come back clean.

This doesn’t seem to have had much effect though, is there anything else i can do or have i missed something obvious, albeit not to me.

I would recomend a map aswell. Its well signposted but if you miss 1 it could send a few miles out (speaking from experience there) take plenty of supplies as shops on the route are few and far between. Although that said, a visit to Mays shop is a must. Near jack bridge i think. 6 and a half hours is my best time, its a great day if the weather is on your side

I live in Bacup and before anyone comments i have the regular amount of fingers and no webbed feet either. You are right,town centre is on its arse but i’d stay away from Stacksteads/Waterfoot, very depressing area. Further out of centre is fine like you say, Weir, Britannia, Water Lumb. If you’ve ever riden the Mary Townley Loop you will know what a beautiful valley this is. What was it Mrs Spanner disliked about Tod? I always find over the border to bit a more positive TBH.
