I’m currently paying £137 p/m dual fuel with EON but just switched to Scottish power. Since jan i have completely replastered the house, insulated all exterior walls, fitted TRV’s and changed the 25+ year old boiler to a nice efficient combi.

Non bike related but what really boils my beans is people that stand still on escalators! Its just a moving set of stairs for f*$^ sake. Those that stand still are blissfully ignorant of all those behind them that want to walk.

Others at work think i’m mad/crazy/stupid for cycling to work in the winter, as i always have. Its less than 2 miles away. A woman said this week as it was cold, she got a taxi and it only cost a fiver!

I cant understand why everyone doesn’t cycle to work, if they can, to be honest

As for the Government telling me to, load of tosh! I have wanted to give up for a few years and have only ever managed a month before. This stoptober thing has got a few of us at work helping each other to give up. We’ll see what happens, give it another go

Yeah i’m doing it, last had a smoke sunday night. That is the norm for me though, only smoke when i have a drink so wouldn’t have a cig till friday. That will be the test.
