Letting my Camelbak go strange colours. Said to myself I’d sort it after today’s ride, I still haven’t. Must do it now.

    I’m working fine, but shifters aren’t :-)

I did, took the whole thing apart! The whole thing’s had a good soak in GT85 too. When moving to the big ring, the lever flings out and doesn’t move a thing as if there’s no ratchet system there.
At least the flat smells nice.

    Nah, no workin.
I’ll run it 2×9 until I find the spare shifter. It’s a different colour, not sure about that!

Left hand/front shifter of the LX variety.
I’ll open it up and maybe try and figure it out, I do have a new unused LX shifter somewhere just in case!

It’s lighter than my geared suspension forked hardtail – but that’s not hard :D
Keep it rigid and stick a massive gear on and you’ll be laughing.

Are there any disadvantages in terms of features with the £40 Time Aliums compared to more expensive models like the ATAC XS?

I think it’s time to invest in new pedals (pun intended). :D

There’s 13 of us left in 4th year, started off with about 30. It is becoming more popular.
Very few jobs in FS at the moment and with the FSS going it’s not a good time to be graduating. Just as well I don’t plan on going into forensic science then eh? Waste of time at uni? Nah.

It’s full of people unable to make a qualified judgement on anything making judgements on everything

And you think I’m qualified to make judgements on the issue of subpops? Not a chance lol

And now the FSS is going down the pan – fantastic.

It’s about statistical issues with allele frequencies when populations are subdivided so unlikely to start a debate on here. It’s due next Thursday, might have to block access to all bike related websites.

By avoiding writing the dissertation I guess.
Maybe they will want to write it for me! Who knows…

Ta, just what I wanted to hear. Might see about trying some other pedals then.

I get cheesed off when parents push their bairn in their pram up clearly defined mtb trails!

Terrible news. We were going to use the Naked Gun theme music as our intro music for our last gig but now our drummer’s broken his ankle we might not have one.
Without a doubt my favourite films. He sure knows how to make a grown man cry.

But they don’t. A two pint green milk from Sainsbos is 86p. A milk bag is 80p – or if you buy 2 for £1.50 they’re 75p.

You got a shower room? In halls in 1st year we broke into flatmates room and moved everything (bed, wardrobe, the whole lot) into the shower room, locked it, put the shower on and left through the window (ground floor). Told him we had no idea what had happened. Almost rang the police. Brilliant :-)

I got a jersey from aldi years ago and it's still going strong. I'll definitely be having a look on the way to work.

Not bad, my xbox got delivered to Germany on Thursday and a replacement is on it's way. And hopefully a free month's live!

Or there's the A530.[/url] Which are fairly rubbish.

I've just sent my 360 off to Germany with the red ring of death. It'll be a while till I see another one!

Had a thought, reckon there's any chance MS would refund/extend your xbox live membership whilst your console's away? It's not my fault that the red ring of death appeared and having no console means no xbox live.

Boots do sterilising tablets for baby bottles and stuff. One of them in and leave it overnight.
A good idea is to remove the bite valve (make sure the valve's shut off first or you'll flood the place) and the white ring on the lid. Chuck them in a glass of water plus half a tablet and stick the end of the hose in the glass too, that way everything gets a good clean.

Freddyg, aye that could be the only option unless I re-wire this broken cable.
Just seeing if anyone had seen them anywhere.

It is quite a problem up there but it's also a problem on the unmarked trails that people ride. If there's somewhere to ride there's somewhere to walk. Whilst I don't mind people being on the non-official mtb trails it does annoy me when they walk/jog/run with or without dogs on the marked trails. I have had words with people before.

Did anyone see the sign that was up ages ago on the national cycle route from city centre out to pollok (number 7 or 75?) that kindly asked bikers to stop for walkers? I was sorely tempted to put my own sign up!

Why is this thread even here? Pollok's rubbish anyway!
