    I didn’t think Cues was completely replacing Deore – I thaught it was just replacing the 10 and 11-speed versions while the 12-speed continues.

    Shimano hardware seems really reliable from my experience and their warranty is exceptional.

    there is the pines hotel which is pet friendly and quite nice. has a good view too

    I am loving the fabric magic grips – super cheap comfy and they last longer than they look like they should. I have just bought a second pair.

    In my local area forestry England have put up signs saying please don’t ride here and bulldozed the bigger jumps (because of grumpy dog walkers) and I think the tipping point was definitely teenagers finding it and dropping litter and being antisocial

    I have found the trail boss great on roots and with puncture protection. maybe try vee crown gems they are also great

    avoid the bottom end Shimano (I had some on a budget hardtail and they had really unreliable bite and would just randomly fail) Clarks and tekktro seem quite good.

    one really simple one for ipads Is inshot (on the app store). its good but the music within the app is pretty limited

    I like the endura strike IIs they are designed with commuting in mind however perfect for mtbs too however the nose wipe is on the finger
