Much as I sympathise with the general position taken in the first 5 minutes or so of that video, I couldn’t bring myself to watch the rest of it. This was because he failed to establish his approach at the outset.
He comes across as saying ‘politicians are directors’, or whatever, and ‘proving’ it by zooming in on a website designed for business information. It undermines everything he says, because that is no way to show a sound basis for his points.
If he’d have started by saying ‘let’s imagine MPs are directors’ I would have been far happier to follow his speech and see where he took it. Instead, he stated it as fact, and so lost credibility, and one audience member (me).
