Went over to Lee cragg/quarry thingy with some new riding ‘friends’ a wee while ago. Just got over the moor using the newish pathway linking the two, sat down to wait for group for one lad to take out a gel neck it and proceed to throw the wrapper and declare ‘its lovely up ere innit’. To which I responded ’twas’ and picked up his wrapper………….not for one moment do I think that I’ve made an impression on him…..it didn’t seem to even register.. 😐

Q1. Yes been a couple of times

Q2. Yes. The more the better!

Q3 Only live an hour away but it would make me visit more often rather than for longer.

Q4. Not a major priority but a varied outlook is always nice! The shelter aspect could be the way forward though especially when a bit cold and wet, it is a bit barren oop ont’ops

Q5. Toilets would never go a miss. Also not over aesthetically pleasing but a couple of bins knocking about wouldn’t go a miss to keep certain areas tidier.

I went to Negril 8 years ago and stayed near where the hedonism hotel is right on the penisula where it’s quite rocky the snorkelling was pretty good there…..small puffers, baracudas, snappers and plenty of other plus on an evening watching pelicans dive for supper from under the water was pleasant!! 😀
Its always a trade of though the other half didn’t dive or snorkel so insisted on a good beach…this obviously means poor snorkelling with expanses of sand and not rocks.
Aruba wasn’t bad again when you got away from the beaches, huge parrot fish eating the coral……….noisey gits!

If you can do 60 on a MTB then 100 on road wouldn’t be an issue fitness wise at a steady pace…………but……..it’s positioning that will cause you the problems esp on a bike that your not familiar with

Obvious this is only an opinion and I accept no responsibility for any of the above 😀

I went for a job interview recently and was asked what i think my greatest weaknesses are.I replied “well i often have trouble with reality; you know? Being able to tell whats real and what is a surreal idealistic formed in my head”.
“Very interesting” replied the interviewer, “what about your strengths?”

There just so happens to be a 4 bed detached going in Thorpe Willoughby just outside Selby for not much 😈

As you move away from Leeds/York towards Selby it does get a bit cheaper, its mostly in reasonable commutable distance to Cas/Leeds/Wakefield etc. Plus the country side(ish) is not more than a mile away but yeah its better for road biking the biggest hill near selby is a railway bridge!!!!

My apologies in advance for this but………
    When they need changing! 🙂

Disconnect the shock (only one end) and manually move the swing arm through its travel if rough change if not leave em!
sorry but this is all I do

Hopefully you have cured it with the above but I found that a different ie less torque on the bearing pivot pinch bolt sorted the creaking on my 5.

Been using the short sleeved version for just under a year, you can get pretty hot in them but its not unbearable. ^ is right about the chest pad but it has to be better than full amour in decent weather (if we see any!) but just enough for the confidence effect! 8)

They do a 72% moisture content which were comfier than the normal 58%.
The last time I ordered I think it was something £12 for 32 pairs not to mention the reduced packaging compared to the ‘big’ brands

Another vote for Calverley and Esholt woods. I spend nearly every Sunday morning round dem der parts. Theres plenty of little tracks but over the river/canal in to Thackley there is a Jump park thingy and quick jump back over’t water there be access up on to Bingley moor/Shipley Glenn by’eck :D.
There is a reasonable loop that can be done through Fulneck/Blackcarr woods/Tong and to Post Hill (involving 3-4 OK pub stops!!) but I’m not available on 26th or else I’d would enjoyed showing you.
