Hora, if the pack is crammed full (as the pic with packing) then yeah but as a daypack with only essentials its been fine and hugs your back and for £20(19l version)…….then again maybe that just the yorkshire in me!! I loves a bargain

I know this goes against convention but the ‘raid’ types that they sell at decathlon for the price are great. I’ve had the medium size one now for 3+ years. The fact it cost less than more well known brands bladders (which is included) it also has side pockets round the waist straps that fit tubes tools and snacks in so you don’t need to take the bloody thing off to find owt. Mind you the fact it was three years ago when I got it they may not do them now!
    edit….
I got the smaller one that they don’t seem to do anymore….

I learnt in a wayfarer too, must be standard fare!
I’ve just bought, on a whim I may add, a Heron, flimsy plywood thing from the 70’s I believe, it has does have a leak on the centreboard casing so I was informed but yet to check if its the only one! :?!!
But having only paid £150 including road/launch trailer I thought it worth a punt I should be able to recoup most of it if not more on the trailer alone if all goes slight arwy!!

I wouldn’t say rough as hell at all but a few miles away it does get worse but Rein road is reasonably expensive for the area though to be fair the houses are some what grander. Whether it’s a concern or not the high school up Rein Rd – Woodkirk is the better one out of the three in Morley and has been consistently for a number of years. Oh though on a slight downward note the Bulls head is a Sam Smiths pub!!!

It’s time when you sit in front of a window and you can feel a cool draft on the top of your head. About 7 years ago for me……so much easier in a morning 🙂

The best thing is drink what you like!!
Personally I’m a big fan of Mount Gay Eclipse and Appletons VX, though the extra old is nice its more of a sipper.
Though these aren’t spiced just light golden rums. I’ve been advised on another but I can’t for the life in me remember the name of it!! its taken over in the caribbean as a favourite.
But the best advice is the first line but most decent bars in city centers carry a reasonable range these day so use it as an excuse for a night out!!

Must admit of the two I prefer the belair just seems more comfortable over longer rides……but as with most things its a personal choice but at 17 quid its worth trying

I’ve ridden with air front and back and also coil f+b round trail centres and in t’alps with and without body armour…….must buy a met parachute 🙂 . I still can’t really tell the difference so just ride thing as it comes out of the garage!
Maybe I should concentrate more on become a pro/riding god so I can participate in these conversations with a point to my posts 😕

Err yeah I’m not doing it thinking it magically lifts dirt out from the seals themselves, it’s just the dirt ring trapped on top of the seal. To me that’s the stuff likely to get pulled into the seal if left so if you’ve just spent 20 minutes cleaning the bike you may as well spend another 20 seconds spraying silicon lube on the stanchions, cycling the forks and wiping off the dirt ring with a paper towel.

OMG………paper towel NOOOOOOOOOOOOO its too harsh you should be using the finest organic cotton cloth 😉 😀

Cheapest option as no doubt people will of mentioned is try new inner and outer cables on your current setup. It really does make a difference, you generally don’t notice it getting worst but when changed……
I know this doesn’t help with your question but your fingers shouldn’t be hurting when changing gears

Just done this yesterday it is as simply as in sounds. You won’t lose fluid from levers (under vacuum). The other thing is to take pads out and squeeze the lever to close the pistons slightly, then cut hose etc do as above then when you open the pistons and replace the pads the brakes won’t need bleeding.

I’ve had one for 3year other than size of main storage compartment can’t fault it. The side pockets are great for multi tools, bars etc as there’s no need to take the thing off.

Gore-tex…..no too worried but I rate the last two pairs of gloves that have had primaloft insulation. I’ve had the end of the fingers of the gloves frozen and fingers inside still been reasonably warm not sure how that worked but wasn’t complaining!!
