Have you lot found you really do more rides? Or just ride the eeb instead (and maybe lose fitness)?

I do a hundred miles a week on the road bike, so no. With regards to handling I had a few wee episodes at Tarland where I couldn’t bring the rear around as quick as my old full sus. However that passed and I am getting the hang of it now. For multiple days/camps/getting to hills I will take my hardtail. Otherwise, it is the ebike.

Scotlands big team won last night, place was jumping although it was colder than a witches tit. Even though he is a back,Jones was absolutely sublime; when did we get into a situation where Chris Harris couldn’t get into a Scotland squad? Even TJ’s posh boys XV managed to scrape a win, albeit against the pointless Scarlets (despite Edinburgh being the worst professional team in Scotland. FACT)

Surgeon who was probably distracted by the sheer magnificence of the view, went in too high for the snip. Tube pushed itself back out my nutsack, waited a year like that to see a specialist who had me in 3 days later. £14k comp.

23k a game v 11ish? Christ for that over an international career I would buy some salmon chinos, a second hand Barbour and the complete works of Winston Churchill on Spotify.

Pay, I had the same dilemma last year with one at the back and got it pulled, absolute pain missing a tooth.

LRZ has zero chance of making it, the ipp is nothing more than a marketing exercise. For context, I did a postgrad at the Uni of Georgia. The Bulldogs play in front of 95k fans and consist of guys who have been pro in all but name since they were 12 and even then only 20% of college drafts have careers in the pro game. Being a bit quick/elusive runner will get him far in our game, but he is just taking a ticket and joining a Q over there.

AA; what if the WRU were to pay for his continued studies? They can’t be that skint.

Sorry, and I realise he was the object of your tanned/nice haired back fetish, he hasn’t developed at all last two years. And that’s as a Gloucester fan who wanted him to be the next Sinbad. I am much happier with Williams arrival than worried about LRZ leaving.
    Oh; and Godspeed JPR Williams.

It’s an ashtray at a table he is sat at and a soft drink…so yes, you are being overly sensitive, unless it has caffeine and you are a Mormon of course.

My first proper mountain bike was a clockwork as a teenage apprentice back in the 80’s. Always had a sort spot for them and over the last decade when I have bough a new full-sus, hard tail, gravel bike and finally; an e-bike in October, I tried to convince myself to buy the Orange. Unfortunately cost and spec meant I didn’t, I suspect a few folk made a similar decision. Such a shame to see them in trouble and crap for the employees at this time of year.

Fair to say Stuart Hogg getting an honour has somewhat split the Scottish rugby community.

Not my year for the boys so after dropping them off I went to Mt Battock and Clach-na-Ben with a brew in the bothy. Weather worsened as the day went on but I got a white Xmas and I broke a chain 4 miles from the car. Quicklink in but bottle going every time I loaded it.IMG_3865IMG_3871IMG_3868

I ride a 100 miles a week road but pretty much exclusively use my e-bike off road now. I went up a local Corbett yesterday and would have gone for a run rather than grind up a hill if I didn’t have the e-bike. Guess that makes me one of those giving up? IMG_3864

Paid my way through Uni doing club doors in Dundee and also an ex plasterer who used to come off on that Friday so have seen both sides of it. NOTHING good happens that night.

King Hamish want to let you know that out of all his minions, you are the least worthy. Ex distillery mouser, took 2 years before he would let me stroke even his head. Lost him to a heart attack in October and can never replace him.IMG_2559

Nine hours marshalling /taking down cyclocross in the pouring rain yesterday was seeming pretty stupid as I was collecting stakes in the gloaming.

Arcteryx clothes work well for what they are designed for, not met many of their new fans up the hills.

I think, to be safe, you best buy a new amp and speakers, carefully reconnect them.
This. And you’ll be needing a new bicycle too, because reasons

See you say that, but this all started 2 months ago with me buying a second hand turntable from a colleague to access the 200 albums that have been in the loft for 25 years. After that came a new cartridge, amp with phono stage and well…the old speakers had had the tweeters pressed in when my kids were wee…I was about to type cycling was cheaper but was pricing XT cassettes yesterday.

Jerry rigged connects and everything works, including the speakers. I am currently listening to King Creosotes latest brilliant album and drinking coffee which I am raising a mug of to the wonderful people of singletrack. Thanks everybody!

No Twonks, but would that be because there are no interconnects?

CSB, I will give that a go, it will let me eliminate at least one factor.

IT LIVES!!! IMG_3766IMG_3767Pgparrot, they didn’t have plates when I bought them, checked the auction and there weren’t any in the pics. So, connected like that it is too bass heavy so would that be because there are no connectors? Doesn’t work in the high setting on the speakers at all.

They were second hand, I have bought generic connectors this morning.

Matty, the speakers didn’t have bridge plates, will that have caused the short? The reason I fitted all 4 was because the source was sounding dull and bass heavy.

As a teacher and ex rep this is depressingly familiar, I am guessing ASN, visiting specialist or staff trainer. Ask the rep again once you have evidence of wrongdoing, and ensure they have contacted branch. If that doesn’t work then time to lawyer up, last in/first out is always easy to circumnavigate by the council if they want.

Drat. That is all. Thanks everybody, the power switch flashed for a few seconds then turned itself off. No sound for the connected Bluetooth either so I guess I will have to get it looked at.

I have owned hebtroco, Edwin, naked and famous, unbranded, and iron heart selvedge jeans. I prefer Hebtroco out of that lot, 14oz is more wearable as well than some of the daft 20oz plus weights. For the guy who said the don’t do 36 inside legs, yes they do! All the jeans are 2 inches longer, they tell you that. Now if they would only launch a selvedge chino…Brant! Brant! Brant!

We have 2 copies of MK in our teaching base, probably donated by PE teachers who see it as a teaching tool. It is a dogs dinner of a book and extremely difficult to see any coherent thread in it.
