The track is near one of the highest peaks in wales, you need to go there to appreciate how steep it is, like with downhill skiing the camera tends to flatten the terrain.

It’s not often that you can save your dignity and money at the same time, this could be one of those occasions.

I think my only deep and true frustration is that instead of making something 2mm thinner they should give it a longer battery life. +1

use 6mm ply or metal plate to create a painted collar 25mm wider than the light fitting, just snap on with the light fitting.

I use a pair of cheap big aviator type plastic frame glasses from an online supplier – eq spex for less (or a cheap ebay frame glazed by ciliary blue – (good firm)) with an elasticated strap around the head (about £6 from ebay) – have a second pair with auto tint for summer use.

My daughter needs a phone and my usage means an expensive contract (and free upgrade) – the battery life is dire for said usage. (iphone 5)

You will survive, and have quite a good time in the process, the long route would be quite tough, the short route ok.

Best description of Ed Milliband by Bill Bailey

He’s like a plastic bag stuck up a tree, no one knows how it got there and no one is arsed to get it down.

I have an altura stainless steel tailgate rack, on all the time, similar to the vw rack
2 bikes – easy – 40 seconds, 3 bikes – 2 mins, 4 bikes – tricky so stick one in the back and put three on the rack, we put 4 on the rack when needed but means swining the bars and removing the seatposts etc.
we need to let some air out for downhill tyres.
