Yep, see you there. Excellent cakes last year.

I reckon the CVMBC is tougher than the Pennine X. It’s a good route and a great day out. It is really well organised and the cakes at the end were terrific.

There’s some tough climbs but nothing too technical from what I remember. I’m not the fittest bloke on a bike and managed to get around in about four hours.

    See you there.

I was fifth on the 20 mile route. I really enjoyed it. It was a good route and well marshalled.

I’d recommend elbow and knee/shin pads. My mate managed to launch himself on the last section of the north loop and ended up with four stitches in his elbow. It ruined our planned night of boozing in Keswick. :-(

I was looking at something off the peg.

A mate at work is letting me out on his P7 soon so I’m looking forward to that.

I don’t want something too stiff as I want some comfort for the longer rides.

I’ve done it twice. I’m not the fittest and managed it in about eight hours both times going clockwise.

Take plenty of fluid and high energy food.

I got a Baked Alaska top. Its a great piece of kit.

    The customer service was excellent.
