You can get the tech spec for yours from the Specialised Website

    Bottom Bracket:68mm x 118mm
    Front mech:34.9mm clamp
    Seat Post:30.9mm

Forks should be ok but you would need a new integrated headset.

You will prob have to email CRC for the spec for the Beone.

Yep you can, you will have to check that the new frame can handle the same travel forks if your using front susp and also check the front mech clamp diameter is the same, but apart from that you should be ok.

What you got and what you thinking of getting?

I have a pair of Daescent that I use as approach shoes for climbing. I can't see them being much good for biking as they are really light weight. The front of the sole is just like a rock shoe so suck in the wet or on anything offroad. The freerunners or the guide tennies would be a better choice.

There is a webcam in Hathersage, you can view it on the 'Outside' online shops website. They also post local weather reports, its about 5 minutes from Ladybowerwebcam

I've got some Talas 36's on order from Progressive bikes, very cheap. Give Simon an email simon@progressive-bikes.co.uk, I'm sure he will sort you out! Otherwise seen some cheap Float RC2's on ebay but they have a shortish steerer.

I bought a custom built bike from Merlin, with 'hand made' wheel's, I think the school kid on work experience must have built them as they were looser than a cheap h#*%$r!!

Llandegla's good, the first climb goes on and on and on up the fire road but it's well worth a visit. I don't know if the new trails are open there yet but I've got a mate who works in the shop there who's ridden them and say's they are good.
