Just start by taking it down to your LBS to have it serviced. It will feel improved from a good fettle and the cables changed (as they stretch). Merlin Cycles are pretty close to you, they are well priced for components….don't know about their labour but have a chat to someone, who can match your needs to your budget.
I have a few colleagues at work who all have iphones on O2, they have no problems and work up and down the Calder Valley from Todmorden to Mytholmroyd. I'm on O2 (not iphone) and the only place that reception is dodgy is by the derelict pub on the way out to Callis Bridge.
All of my music is on a external hard drive-same process if you need it in the future…..I ran out of space on my D, just need to have it plugged in when searching for the new file.
Go into the edit tab on the top, then preferences, onto the Advanced tab (far right). The first box is the file on your C drive, click change and look for your new file…….just call it the same and it will have a D: instead of C:
Just seen on your other thread about a 2.5 TDI Audi, I'm running a 2.5 TDI Passat which is bomb proof. I've had it for nearly 3 years and done about 40 k in it-it's now got 76k on it and still going strong.
I went about 10 years ago as a family holiday-my dad was working with the UN in Bosnia. We were on the coast near to Pula, from what I can remember it was a lovely place. I am thinking of going back, taking my little one this time.
Had frame braces, firstly the carbon ones then the Evolution Adaptors Evo II, still had some flex!!
Dependant on what you get, I have a carrier bag with my old set and spares in if you want anything let me know.
I ran Magura Racelines from about 1998 until about a year ago-the same pair. They are easy to set up, easy to service and have bags of power. I used to look at my GT Zaskar frame flex when I pulled them on. I would go as far as saying they are as good as discs (in the dry), without the heat build up.
I'm running a 2007 DHX4 shock, but they should be similar pressures. Have a go at getting the cap off as taking the shock off every time you make an adjustment will be a complete ball ache!
No you don't have to remove it, you can just get the cap off and the shock pump on…..have to use both index fingers to do it though 😕 Running about 220 PSI in the propedal but I weigh 13.5 st.
deluded 7 years in uniform, got 2 weeks to do before going into a specialist unit………
Lantern jawed detective who by his own admission can't fit into his uniform 😕
There was a guy not too far away from STW towers caught doing this a few years back, he later got caught in a chicken hut in 'compromising circumstances'.
There was someone on last night saying it worked out at about £320 posted for the £250 kit. I love mine, just wish I had got the headtorch extra thing before they lost the UK importer.
They are the T things but there are 3 on each of the Thule racks. To remove you do have to slide them out of the 'gutters' but they just slide out. Got a Passat with the roof rails, think they use the same feet so that won't matter.
Expensive maybe, they are secure and the Thule carriers slide on/off in seconds.
Depends if your just using the bars for the bikes and taking them off the car after each use. If that's the case don't waste your money but if you keep them on and have other stuff on the roof then there is much less faff.
