Wow, whats been going on here then :(. I popped out for a meal and all hell lets loose. Thanks guys for your advice about your tents. Oh and what did that chap say about me ?
Hi Stu. I would agree that the tadpole is extremely stable for a tent of that weight (we used to have a voyager which is similar) but we always struggle to cook in that style of tent.
Personally I don’t think the sealy one that snaps has highlighted will work. The blind puller kits consist of a set of split collets into which you screw a tapered bolt. This has the effect of expanding the collets into a recess ( be it the bearing race or the gap behind the bearing) on to the bolt you attach the slide hammer and pull the bearing out.
We can’t all afford 70 or 80 squid on a pair of riding shoes. And there is alot of “fashion” involved , which is why theres 5000 different colour combinations available :)
Well in that case let me recommend the .243 downhill racing hardtail. Adjustable dropouts, 24 or 26″ wheels, singlespeed or geared. Does it all really and warranted for triple clamp forks.
Coffeeking, I never meant to suggest that it was lighter than a full suss ! it’s just different and all of the gravity works to push it down the hill. If you’ve never ridden a bike such as this you should give it a go. thats if you enjoy your downhills. Oh and the 24″ back end is also very flickable on the skinnies :)
Hi Knottie. East water valley(from cloutsham to horner) is blocked in at least half a dozen places. The NT estimate that it will take 3-4 weeks to clear all the fallen trees.
Hi Mate. yes it’s my bike it’s used for everything but primarily for going downhill (quickly) In that pic it has a Nokian 3″ tyre on and the cushioning is great without lugging a full suss around. Here it is with 26″ back wheel.
Just saying that theres nowt wrong with most jobs, human beings just like to have a change. Personally I’d say if you want to do something then do it, but be prepared to be skint and working all the hours that god sends.
Me and the missus backpack with a 65 and 55 litre pack. really its more to do with weight. She used to carry 11kg and i’d have about 15Kg. Don’t buy a great big bag ‘cos you’ll fill it up and won’t have any fun at all.
