Assume you meant the Ridgeway Double?

Good luck to them if they’re doing it today, it’s looking grim out there, even the dog’s refusing to go outside

Thanks! I’ll take a look at the Bluedio ones.

The Mpow set that you linked to are teh ones that I had a problem with…

Thanks mogrim, I wasn’t very clear, the signal started to break down as if there was a loose connection. I tried it with different sources but the same result. It happened before the battery ran out for the first time.

Thanks, those Jabra’s look good but a bit pricey!

another vote for a cockerpoo here. If you can get past the ridiculous name that is :)

Ours is 18 months and a great pet, also our first dog. Seems to need less exercise than Crag’s she’s happy with a couple of 25 minute walks a day but is happy (and gets!) more than that most days. Her mother was a show cocker and they apparently need less exercise than working cocker offspring. But fun, good natured, playful and intelligent.

I don’t think that a sprocker wold be right in your situation. They’re lovely dogs, a neighbour has one, but they do need a lot of exercise

Can anyone point me at the garden sprayer ghetto thing that someone made a while back – struggling with a new bonty tyre onto a Stan’s rim today.

    Here you go:

alternatively now I have an Airshot I’m selling my ghetto inflator – £10 plus postage :D

Used them more times that I’d like my wife to know :) as others say no better or worse than anyone else. Think we only hear the bad news about any retailer. Let’s face it a post of “I ordered X from Y and it arrived the next day” is marginally less interesting than “I ordered X from Y and it hasn’t arrived yet”

That RFLKT looks interesting, anyone used one?

What are you using as your Strava app?

You’ll need separate sensors for heartrate and cadence.

You can pick up a bluetooth chest strap on eBay for about £25

Thanks – just what I needed to know. Looks like I can travel light in that case!

How well run was the event? I’m doing the Wantage one later in the year and I starting to plan.

How well marked is the route? Did they provide a GPS ahead of time?

How far apart are the feed stations?

My local green lane was repaired last summer.

This is how it looks now

He’ll ride when he’s ready to. My son was the same, refused to have the stabilisers taken off until one day he asked me to remove them.

Under braking, on the front, can make quite a big difference.
    Rear less so.

I read that as “make it worse if you have it on the wrong way” :). I can live with the shame but I like the ability to stop….

Go for it! You may win, you may get handed your @rse on a plate, but you’ll probably enjoy it.

And if you don’t you can a least “retire” knowing racing’s not for you

Ignore this lot and go for it. What could possibly go wrong with giving yourself a Harpic enema? Just don’t clench and have a nice stick to grit your teeth on.

The Wantage one has a 100k route, or, more accurately “at least 100k”

I’d echo 100% what tomd says!

Mine got stuck in the down position after 3 rides. I stripped it down, regreased and it last another few rides before seizing totally.

The trigger was also a PoS but it looks like they’ve changed that for the latest version.

Bought an RSP which I’m very happy with

Select the video. Go to the file menu and select Create new version>create iPod Version.

Or something very similar! I’m doing this from memory as I don’t have iTunes on this machine

Think it was a puller? But I’m after a tool to remove bearings from a Surly singlespeed hub or Hope hub more elegantly than a hammer and chisel.

I’ve just got a Mio wrist sensor which I’m happy with so far – less than a week old though.

Otherwise I’m selling my 3 month old chest strap – Bluetooth only- if anyone’s interested

Can’t help with the rim/hub question but what tyre for a fat bike is easier to answer as there’s less choice.

At the end of the day it comes down to where you ride and the conditions but I’ve currently got a Nate up front and a Floater on the rear, If it gets wetter (if that’s possible :-) ) I’ll put a Nate on the back as well.

Just unlucky, only 2 punctures in a similar time. Mind I do put some Stans in my tubes.

I’m seriously impressed. But only in the sense that you got yours to last a couple of rides longer than me. As tomd says this is a piece of junk, only possibly any use if you ride in totally dry conditions. Only plus side is that it showed me that dropper posts are a good idea.

Well I bought mine to go riding on. To be honest don’t give a flying flurry what some keyboard warrior out there thinks of them, I’ll just go out and ride if I feel like it.

If you’re bringing in by the train check their rules on wheel size. Some companies (I’m looking at you South West Trains) have a maximum wheel size that rules out some folding bikes, not that they ever stopped me.

FWIW I have a Dahon Helios which is fine for the amount of times that I need a folder
