Dust off and nuke the site from orbit.

It’s the only way to be sure.

Not if you want to ever remove it! Unless the design has changed there’s no way to remove without brute force and ignorance. PLus mine lasted less than 100 miles before it died

Haven’t got your combination but SOP for me when a Bluetooth device goes AWOL is to remove it from all apps and from Bluetooth in Settings and then add back in.

As others have said the tools in those bargain boxes are made of cheese and you’ll be luck if you use them more than once before they bend out of shape.

Far better to buy decent versions of the tools as you need them for a specific job

Joystick with a Redeye (unless I’m in a group when it’s more than a little anti-social)

Ground is saturated round Wantage way. Once the snow melts will be like riding on a sponge.

If you want to link it to your phone why not just get a Bluetooth sensor like this: http://www.decathlon.co.uk/bluetooth-speed-cadence-sensor-cycle-computer-accessory-id_8348589.html

Puzzled, it comes set to point directly forward, why would you want to change angle ?

If the bars are swept back then the angle will need to be changed so that it’s not pointing into the hedge.

Of course an alternative approach would have been to adjust the stem so that the light is pointing forwards, bars may end up a little wonky but reduces the risk of damage to the light.

Which one is that? I thought that Singular bikes came with their own EBB?

Now you’ve sown seeds of doubt in my mind but I’m pretty sure that my Peregrine and Swift have a Phil Wood, but the Puffin has a similar design in a wider shell.

Used the Singular/Phil Wood EBB for years on several bikes and it’s been flawless

I’d guess the 65/115? Assuming their 90 is perpendicular to the steerer then that would give a 25 degree rise

I like it! Generally intuitive to use, nice look and data well presented

    A couple of points:

I compared 2 bikes and then deselected one of them so that I could compare to a different one but couldn’t easily see how to add a new bike to the comparison without going via the home page. An Add button would be useful.

Perhaps change the text on the Add a bike link? I assumed that it was to add another bike to my comparison rather than add a bike to the database.

Got them on all my bikes and ride them in all weathers, yes they do need more TLC than plastic saddles but it’s worth it. For me the most comfortable saddles that I’ve found.

Latest version seems to work OK. That’s v5.9.2 for IoS.

you can get dual mode sensors that will work with Ant+ and BT-LE, so they will talk to your garmin and your iphone.

Was just about to recommend the Wahoo ones which do that. I use their cadence sensor strapped to my shoe which means I don’t need a sensor for every bike.

Probably think I know the answer but….

These PLANTRONICS BACKBEAT GO 2 at http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/291860804369?lpid=122&chn=ps&adgroupid=27378760866&rlsatarget=pla-181484316306&adtype=pla&poi=&googleloc=1007196&device=c&campaignid=620865095&crdt=0 are half the price of anywhere else.

    So real or fake?

I know if it looks too good to be true it probably is :)

Aren’t 11 speed chains narrower than 10 speed? If so I doubt that the link will fit

I’ve got a set of Mpow Cheetah’s. Less than £15, comfortable, good battery life, sound quality acceptable and I can hear my music and what’s going on around me

Sad to see them go, really pleased with the Uno cranks. Which leaves me with a problem of what to when my chainring wears out. Do I:

    – Hope that I can replace from Goldtech, Wolf etc.
    – Switch to a Shimano
    – Buy a spider so that I can use regular chainrings

What do people think? Will Goldtech etc. continue to produce compatible parts? Don’t really like the spider option as it rather detracts from the good looks of the cranks

Surly single speed hub. You’ll need a freewheel but it’s bombproof

Do any of the phone apps do zone alarms?

The Wahoo app does. Allows you to set your own zones and will alert you when you change zones

Depends where you are but generally it’s OK I’ve certainly had enough rides interrupted…

But be careful where you stop – in some of the dips there is little reception. I live at the bottom of the Ridgeway and get no signal at home but on the track it’s fine.

Will also depend on your network.

Yes, got them on all my bikes!

But some people don’t like them….

Having watched the Olympics I’ve seen some track cycling where they use flats with straps, seen them advertised for fixies too.
    That’s what I would get.

Think that they said on the commentary that they were also clipped in, the straps were a “belt and braces” measure because they can pull out of the clips

sort of, that’s a whole mount though rather than just the mounting place which has broken on mine. Not sure I’d trust my Garmin to a £5.99 eBay special though!!

Been using them without issue on my bikes for about a year now admittedly with a RFLKT which is probably a little lighter than a Garmin.
