I’ve got a medium, think a small would be too small for you, but my Chrome doesn’t have a handle

Since everybody knows that red bikes are fastest shouldn’t there be a category for them too?

Yes a 29er tyre will last 29/26ths longer than a comparable tyre on a 26er

Once hit a Japanese tourist who stepped off the kerb cos she was too excited by Selfridges to bother looking out for traffic

Remind me.. Is that 10 or 20 points? 😀

You say you want full suss and then say you’re considering bikes like a Swift! Think you need to clarify your requirements a little more

I flew a bike back from the US with BA in a soft bag. I just got a couple of bike boxes from my LBS to pad it out.

I brought a bag of flat batteries to take to the cafeteria at work where there is a battery recycling bin and put them on my desk.

Months passed and I never got round to taking them even though I was theree most days until I finally thought tho take them down. Odd, I thought, the bag felt lighter than I remembered. Someone had taken all of the AAs and AAAs leaving an old mobile battery and a coupple of 9v ones.

Control + Click gives right click on a Mac

Or buy a 2 button mouse. It will “just work”.

Top tip – to get your light beam to go straight, simply undo the bolts that hold the stem to the steerer and twist the bars until the light points in the same direction as the front wheel (then retighten the bolts, obviously – you’d have to be really silly not to do that).

That works fine but now my knee bangs on the left bar when pedalling and I can’t reach the right bar.

Anyone know of a bar that sweeps forward on the left and back on the right?

Was riding behind someone with an Exposure Flare the other day. Was impressed enough to chase them down to ask what he light was

Never used to so took the drops off and switched to bullhorns. A couple of months back and a stone lighter I put drops back on and spend most of he time there. Faster, more comfortable and better braking.

I’ve got a Foska jacket which is great when the temperature drops, not very waterproof mind….

Always stop (or slow down), have given my spare tube away on occasion.

Last summer on holiday my 7 year old had his first big crash and didn’t want to ride any more so we were walking home his bike on my bars and a farmer coming the other way stopped and insisted on giving us a lift.

Even came back to check my son was OK the next day!

Don’t know his recent stuff but Transformer, Berlin, Rock and Roll Animal and Coney Island Baby are all pretty amazing. Not to mention the stuff he did with the Velvet Underground

    So I’d say yes.

Think they’re the marmite of saddles 🙂 I’ve got B17’s on all my bikes and find them really comfy, others don’t get on with them

Another vote for Moshi Monsters, but it can get expensive!

My son’s also a fan of Club Penguin

I’m running one on the front, maybe I’m not pushing it hard enough but it gives me enough grip. Haven’t tried it in really slippy conditions yet though.

And they are very tight, had to send one back because there was no way it was going to fit, hence a different tyre on the back.

This http://www.bikesdirect.com/products/dawes/sst.htm is the best value bike I’ve ever owned. And I paid half as much again as its at currently. For a grand you could fly to the States pick it up and still have change!

More seriously though it’s the same frame as an SE Lager so you may want to add that to your list

I really like mine, very comfortable to ride, handles nicely. Only negative is a small amount of toe overlap

It’ll be great for a few months then you’ll regret not buying the Swift, want to upgrade and then blow the budget on parts to make it better. Repeat until you swap all the bits on to your new Swift frame

Can’t think of anyone who would do something like that. No not at all 8)

I think they’re song lyrics.. at least they used to be

‘I love you, I’m not gonna crack’ etc..

    Lithium by Nirvana, hardly uplifting…
