How much experience do you have of MX races?

    I’ve watched one.

    How big are your balls?

    E-Massive.

Seriously though, there is very close (5m) spectator view of a hauuuge jump which I’ll be next to.

You wouldn’t spend 3k on a bike and put 10 quid rubber on it, would you? Would you?

If I ever spend 3k on a bike, I’d go get myself examined.

Some great suggestions here thanks, the 24-105 L looks like a spectacular lens, but just too expensive. Maybe though that’s what I need to do and MTFU. Missus doesn’t need a Christmas present after all, maybe a picture of me will do?

Jeebus these lenses are expensive! I was hoping to get away with £300 max, but don’t want to waste the body.

Subject-wise, I’ve never settled on one type; close range/nature shots more than anything, but will be upping my game now and experimenting more, mate’s got a MX race at end of month, so fancy giving that a shot as first experiment.

It’s probably an all-rounder lens I need, but really, do I need to be spending £500+ to achieve potential of body?

Joe – Not horrid, understandable, hence why I admitted my own stupidity. However, It’s not my first venture into DSLR, but have always stuck with kt lenses, I do not require a 1,000Mp camera as will never print more tnan A4, and I enjoy photography, and am a Canon man, and it’s nearly Christmas, so why not?!

    DavidJones, thanks, I’ll get googling.

Samsung Mv800 is a great camera, packed with features.

Check out this reputable guy who’s selling one as new for £70.

    W…T…F???

Shib, seriously – what is going on here?

I leave my computer alone for a few hours and come back to this insantity. Are you SERIOUSLY still considering killing tiddles?

Straight facts: You like nature & go to some lengths to encourage it. Key to this though is you are messing with the natural balance as we are in 2012, well intended and no doubt prductive, but you’re messing nevertheless…and if you want to strip back the definition of messing with nature, you live in a house, that’s disruptive for the trees & habitat that was once there, no?

Cats are nature in the hands of humans, therefore they’ve got a bit of a disadvantage already, but they are animals FFS. Go and row with the neighbour to the point that is is productive, protect your own little garden/Forest of Dean and as I mentioned earlier, MTFU.

It’s a cat. Water, sprinkler etcs. Get some balance on what you can do to help and what you can’t manage.

Or really mess with nature and get a gun and shoot somehing, after all that’s proved to be nothing but effective at resolving issues.

My local chippy “The Trawler” does the best F&C IMO. Great quality fish and reasonably priced.

    +1 Piemonster.

Goldcrests are beautiful little things; so bravo for encouraging them.

Mulling the idea to kill a family’s pet though to protect what YOU have decided to do, is pretty lame.

MTFU and get a garden sprinkler/hosepipe, supersoaker 5000.

I did it once about 20 years ago, never again – bl**dy dangerous..but worked out fine eventually.

The hardest part was squeezing it over the rim without breaking the wheel off, but eventually got it on and was pulling on my trigger again in no time.

I’ve never posted on a thread that got closed before.

Neither have I! I’m not publishing any details (yet) though.

If he has hacked your account

Sadly, he hasn’t hacked anything – it’s instantly viewable, which is why I would like Drac or any other mod to take an interest. I don’t post anything contentious, neither do I promise to sell anything and not deliver.

Copied your details best I could and it’s £347 for me right up to £1647

This is what I want politicians to sort out, and therefore, knowing the ultimate truth, why I don’t bother voting.

To get the run times you want sell the 18650’s on ebay and buy some better quality ones from Smudge .

I want to get this but don’t use eBay. Can they be bought any other way?

Drop me the PP if you like and I’ll get ’em for you & just change delivery address?

    That’s not techno, that’s gabba

Yes! The original trolling – get the argument going about how many bpm defined what type of electric thump/vocal was what, while a selection of some individuals adorned their obsession/dreamscape/bright white Tommy H jacket, which they would wear EVERY day.

Them were the days…not sure what type of days, but I remember a few of them.
