Yes, when I was on it I had this for a few weeks but it eased. Speak to your pharmacist or your GP as I’m not a medical professional.

We are now using a metatag rather than a cookie to determine your ad status. For those that know how to check the metatag is called ezoic_ad_suppression

That tag should be present on every page while your are logged in as a full member.

One issue this has brought to our attention is that clearing cookies now won’t fix the problem if you are seeing ads when you shouldn’t. What we suspect may be happening in those cases is that your browser is serving a version of the page from it’s own internal cache that does not have this metatag. That may happen if your browser caches the page before you login and after you are logged in it serves up that cached version of the page without the metatag.

Clearing the stored cache data on your device could fix this. This is how you do this on a mobile device.

On Android in chrome click the three dots and then select ‘Clear Browsing Data.’ ”

On iOS Chrome click the three dots and tnen click ‘Delete browsing data’

Instructions for other browsers on mobile may vary but essentailly you are looking to clear out any stored cached page files from the site. This shoudl result in you getting a clean verion of the page with the metatag present.

Let me know how you get on with that.

Guessing its not suitable for my 9 year old?

Watch it yourself first, I would have let my eldest watch it at 9 but no so much my youngest.

Seen it as a young kid on first release, was more excited by it and it was all chat the next say about the explosions and searing heat. Seen it again a few years later when at high school when we were learning about nuclear bombs, the 80s was an odd time as there were many programmes about surviving a nuclear strike. The reality is your better off watching the strike from close up, at least it’ll be a swift death.

I used online during covid, worked Ok but find face to face much better. Also it was weekly as monthly is too far apart to be effective.

The AI generated photos that boomers seem to fall for, about how Great Britain was seem to have become more frequent. I usually block them but they still creep in.

Watched 3 last night. Definitely need to go back to Switzerland too.

Yes Paddy was more controlled in his character came out with a very line last night about short cuts. You can tell they are genuine mates despite being very different characters and backgrounds.

Cheers MrHoppy. Fortunately I won’t really have a time limit, but as it stands Sweden is a big trip. May have to consider flying and hiring instead.

    Newcastle to Rotterdam

Yes, that is an option I’ve looked at. Need to make a plan for trips next year and now Sweden is on the consideration list.

Surely motorhome and Sweden means ferry to France and roadtrip to Sweden…no?

One option yes, a ferry to Norway from just down the road would have been a lot easer.

Watching it now. Still don’t rate Chris but he is improving, just lacks the personality that Paddy has for TV.

Entertaining enough and now looking at how to get my motorhome to Sweden, not as easy since they stopped the ferrry from Newcastle to Norway.

About time the big heavy, overpowered and over-tyred EVs start paying their way towards the road damage they’re almost certainly causing.

Which would be great if they were heavier than all other cars and if VED paid for roads.

I enjoyed it, I enjoyed how it took the piss out of previous episodes staged incidents, I enjoyed the 3 mates messing about, it had some staged moments of course but it is TV. Was a nice farewell for them and good they showed some of the crew.

MacDonald’s burgers are the same. Beef, seasoned with salt and pepper.

Served as meal with fries, coke and why not have cheese dippers too.

They haven’t trained for it, and don’t really want to do it, often don’t understand it, and it takes them away from the job they’re really good at.

I went through numerous training courses for management the posts I held, including regular refresher courses. My experience and clinical knowledge meant I fully understood the roles of staff and what they were expected to do as I had done the job. Those that were management from outside others areas didn’t always understand or took a long time to learn.

Speaking to an ambulance driver the other week.

    No such thing.

The NHS is a mess, it needs reformed it will cost billions and take decades. PFI needs scrapped, purchasing should be on an open market and they need to save costs by wastage prescriptions amongst meany other things.

I’m very glad to be out if it and hope it does improve.

Well if he didn’t smoke for years at a time he would have been classed as an ex-smoker. I think the NHS considers anyone who hasn’t smoked for at least a year to be an ex-smoker.

Not once he started again they wouldn’t.

I stopped smoking for 5 years in the mid 2000s. I have stopped for years plus 3 or 4 times and each time went back to it.

That means you’ve never stopped, just paused then started again.

It’s almost as if it doesn’t add up.

Well, it’s more like it’s made up.

It’s not actually, the rate of pub closures quadrupled after the smoking ban so whilst it is probably an exaggeration to say it is responsible for 3 in 4 closures, it is likely to be the major factor.

So it is an exaggeration to blame the smoking ban.

So you’re talking of a very small area in Leith. I’m talking about pretty much the rest of the UK.

Well over 20% of England’s pubs have shut since the smoking ban came in and there is no indication that it is slowing down as they get increasingly expensive as fewer customers have to cover their fixed costs

The smoking ban is just one very small part of that. Cheap supermarket alcohol would certainly have a bigger effect.

Not round here Drac.  In the 80s it was full on trainspotting – this is where trainspotting happened.

I mean even Trainspotting had Rentboy new girl out on her own, Ok she wasn’t middle aged.

Were you moonlighting for the Chippendales?

    I look nothing like Chipps.

round here Drac – yes.  When I first started drinking round here women of any sort were rarely seen unless with a bloke.  Now they feel safe and welcomed enough to go to the bars without a bloke in gaggles.

You’re probably out by at least 10 years. Certainly since the later 80s and definitely 90s women have been out drinking in groups.

One of the big expansions here in the 30 years I have lived is groups of middleaged women.  30 years ago they did not go into the pubs.

Really? I’ve been drinking in pubs for over 30 years and there’s always been groups of middle aged women.

heard the Welsh NHS send doctors to Merthyr Tydfil A&E to get fracture and trauma experience from BPW.

Yeah I doubt that very much. Major city hospitals have trauma centres, so a bike park in wales will not provide much experience.
