Go and see GP, get referred to ENT casualty clinic, get nose welded shut. End of problem.

A number of reasons why you get them more at this time of year, on top of all the other reasons for nose bleeds.

Pollen – irritant, leading to inflammation of nasal mucosa
Hot – blood vessels in nose dilate to help get rid of heat as you breath out therefore bigger and more likely to bleed
Bad Aids – more prevalent in summer

No, some places do a 4 year post graduate course (although it is the same amount of work as the five year course just crammed into 4), Newcastle amongst them and a few places in London. Dunno where else though. It’s hard work as you have to do 5 years work in four, but they assume that as you are older and a bit more sensible then you wont be hungover quite as often….

We stayed at the Mal a year or so back and it was really nice. If you go on their website and sign up to the newsletters you can usually pick up a deal…. I think we payed £100 for B&B as long as you had dinner in the restaurant (which was very nice) and spent over £50, making it about 165 squids for dinner bed and breakfast once all totted up.

Blu-ray is not supported by apple (yet) and the memory is very dependent on what sort of modules are in the PC (but probably the wrong ones, as is the law of sod)….

Seem to be going for jst over £100 on e-bay as you say…. I’d give him a hundred squids if you want it and then sell it when you get your upgrade.

SBZ, I’m with StoatsBrother on this one I’m afraid and have spent a fair few years looking at knee injuries at the front door as it were…. Knees are very complicated bits of kit (almost as complicated as shoulders)!

There is a ‘Restaurant in the Dark’ which is quite entertaining on a stag do as you can nick his wine and sneak chili powder into his food…..

I have everything ripped onto the computer, and all the CDs in the office.

I have a logitech squeezebox in most rooms for when I want some music on, and a separate hi-fi for when I want to listen to music

Could’ve been dementia, or delerium or any other cause. Just discharged from hospital at 98 is likely to cause slight confsion/upset due to change of surroundings, add in an untreated/not fully treated infection and you have a recipe for confusion.

(Also for those that will say how did two burly coppers not get the better of a 98 year old man, have you ever seen a little old lady with a urinary tract infection? They go crazy and have the strength of a bear – I wouldn’t want to face one armed with a knife and an axe!)

Yep, and they were brilliant (also M&S).

They picked up the bust laptop the next day and phoned me the day after to offer me a new top of the range macbook pro and said that as it was my first ever claim it didn’t effectr my premium….

So, £100 excess and five days after dropping my laptop, I had a shiney new macbook pro!!

    Excellent service.

I’m so glad to have found others who think Tom Hanks is shit…. Seriously this man can’t act. He is utterly bobbins in everything he has been in and I can’t watch any films of his anymore as they make me want to cry (in a bad way). Everyone else I know thinks he’s great, I was beginning to think it was just me. Thank You

Dunno, but she’s always been good….. We float is still one of my favourite songs and hugely under-rated.

p.s. Househusband – if you can get hold of a copy of last months procycling magazine there was an article init you would probably be interested in – about Team Type 1, an american road team who all have type 1 diabetes…..

Can’t believe this has got to page three and no-one has mentioned trapping your foreskin in your zip… Officially the most painful thing that can happen to a human. It’s not so bad as you zip it up coz’ it happens so quick and your weren’t expecting it. It’s when you look down at the mangled wreckage and realise you’re gonna have to unzip it……

(Must be more painful than childbirth as no man ever does this more than once, and they never do it by choice!)

    Try these guys: Keith Belfield
    Or these guys: Osborne Dental[/url]

(a mate Jim works at the first one – and he’s just getting into MTB so gives you something to talk about while you wait for your mouth to go numb and a mate’s wife works at the second)

S’probly nowt but worth getting checked out just in case.

Most likely thing is myoglobinurea, myoglobin released for damaged muscle being filtered by kidleys and excreted, reasonably common after strenuous exercise. Myoglobin is same sort of colour as haemoglobin hence similar looking in wee. However, could be a stone or a bladder/kidley tumour so worth getting checked as they are easily fixable if caught early.

I’ve got the s10s and they seem pretty good so far… Only had them a couple of weeks but sound quality is not bad and they seem pretty comfortable.

Tried the Plantronics backeats as they get good reviews, sound quality was good but just didn’t seem to fit me comfortably. (And they broke when they were in the protective carrycase in my camelback – fixed them with wound glue and a dental splint but not ideal.)

DrP – I don’t rate GPs as asses, far from it. I think they have a very dificult job, it’s just that some of our local ones think A&E is a dumping ground for stuff they can’t be arsed to sort out. Although I am fully aware of the first rule of House – all patients lie: a large number that say they couldn’t get an appointment or that their GP told them to come up are trying to pull the wool over our eyes (unsuccessfully).
    😀 😉

I wonder how the OP is getting on…… (hope he’s not still waiting)
