You obviously have no idea. Take it to your LBS. Water in the system, how did that get there. It’s a closed system, with a bleed point at each end.

Had both a 172 and a 182 trophy, Loved em both, bit hard but thats the price you pay with most performance ish cars. Used to put two bikes in the back with wheels off. Passed the 182 on to my son who is 6’2″ and he had no problems size wise,he then went onto a 200 Cup. Apart from servicing the 172 had one bulb,an exhaust and a set of discs and pads in three years. The Recaro seats in the 182 are a little snug. It’s all about the handling, you soon forget about a few rattles.

Not lighter than a Syntace. The 60mm Syntace is 127g. I run a 30 mm which is 107g. If you want to quote weights get your facts in order

No exposed metalwork as such. Just the seat mounting rails, which you only see with the seats removed.

Go on then, I’ve got a 14 plate Yeti elegance 2wd 2 litre diesel. It’s nice to drive and does what I want, nice high up driving position, comfortable, good on fuel even though it’s been chipped. If you want to put bikes in get one without the spare wheel, the floor area is level. All the seats come out making it a bigish van. Go for a drive and see if you like it. Simples

Tried Superstar Ti disc bolts many moons ago. Made of cheese, and the threads are very poor quality. ProBolt are over the top Tbf but are a quality item with rolled threads. Not seen Toronto Cycle before will have a look.

Use Halfrauds fluo green stuff, used in six new cars since 2000ish. Without problems, heard some horror stories mind.

Add a little methylated spirit to your choice of screen wash. The alcohol in it wont freeze. You dont need a lot though.

Can’t be done for that price. You need an Ac/Dc welder with a high frequecy start (ie not scratch start) to do stainless and aluminium. Welding rods unless you can beg some are circa £75 a pack. Argon the sheilding gas normally has a yearly rental for the cylinder and obviously a charge for the contents although you can buy very small cylinders without rental now. Not sure if you are allowed now to have pressuried gas cylinders in a residential property. Asme 9 6g coded tig welder for longer than I care to think about.

Won’t be Ohlins for £250 methinks  I run a Db Inline but again, not for £250. Superb and all the adjustment you could possibly need.

Thanks Leku, just ordered some Superspeed Rahox pads with 15% off. If they work well and don’t make too much noise I will be very happy, not tried the organic Shimano yet but the sintered can be noisy when wet. For me it’s performance before price.

Calderdale based too, at the mo running a Shorty on the front and a Minion Dhf on the rear. Also use Dhf/Dhf combo and Ardent/Ikon for summer. All EXO 3C Max Terra versions. Found the side walls fragile and porous on Conti’s even their UST versions, racesport no good at all on Calderdale rocks. Tried a Mary but the nobs were tearing at the base. Maxxis seem to work for me, riding buddy loves Schwalbe Mary/Damph combo. The Michelin seems quite heavy

Brilliant place to ride, a few of my photo’s on the previous post. Rental bikes have the brakes the WRONG way round, very easy to take a bike same price as a set of golf clubs. You need some help to find the good stuff Tbf. Ping me a mail if you want any help.
The trail down to Cofete beach in the south
