I have some Rail 50 wheels that came the same as yours. Just put a little Stans under the valve to help sealing. Do yours have black/dark grey tape? If so they are fine. The valves have removable cores as well, so easier to get the latex in. Should have a little plastic tool to remove them. They also have a little rubber “O” ring that is a nice touch.

Sound like a bent rotor. Easy to check. I use one of these to set my calipers up on my Xo trails.
    Very easy and good results.

I have one of these  BikeRay III v2 1300 lumens. It’s not bad have had it over a year. Quite well made/waterproof. Lasts for my local night route Ok. (2.5 hours) Use it on the bars with a Solastorm X2 on my helmet and has been fine. Just got another cheapo Chinese light and it’s Much brighter, don’t think you can have too much light off road. So it’s now a spare.

For the really cold weather I have an Endura Stealth, but it’s very warm. I also have a Madison Zenith softshell and it’s superb. It was £40 from 18 Bikes in the sale and it’s become my go to jacket, not too warm, breathes well, windproof and pretty waterproof. Total bargain and VERY surprised at just how good it is.

In the spirit of Singletrack/recommend what you have. DB Inline. Believe rider weight not too much of an issue now but stand to be corrected. Just fitted mine, might get chance for for a first proper ride tomorrow.

Lbs will fit for free, they have the tool and have done quite a few. Not ceramic however. Hence the question. Think it will be stainless unless the ceramic gets the nod.

Take the remote off the bars and screw it onto the barb. DON’T press the lever while doing it or you will need to bleed it.

Got some Troy Lee KG 5450 and they are superb, very comfortable on big/short rides and they stay put. The only downside is you have to put them on before you put your shoes on, and you need the correct size for them to be secure. I followed the Crc size guide and they were fine. They wash fine too

Running Minion Dhf front and rear in 650B,seem quite fast rolling and grippy. BUT you have to lean em over hard. Ran an Ardent Minion combo for summer and they were fantastic. Swapped to the Minions for the gloop. Faster rolling than Hans Damph’s and seem better than Rubber Queens. No tearing like the Damphs. No fragile side walls like Conti’s. Might try a Magic Mary for a front for proper gloop, not sure yet. Read that the Dhf front/ Dhr2 was maybe not the best option but it’s all a personal feel thing. Love the Dhf front rear combo when it’s dry but the front is slightly vague when it’s sopping wet/mud fest when you tip it into a corner.

I made one for my Urge helmet.Started with one of these which came with my Gopro so was free. The lower curved part.

A little bit of Diy later I got this.

Took a little while to get the angle sorted so it pointed where I wanted it.But I think it’s a neat solution that you can remove very easily.

Love it. Only one shifter to think about now. Gone from 3 x 9 Xtr to 2 x 10 Xtr,to 1 x 11 and thought each step would be a problem. Not so

    Here’s mine.

It’s quite good at keeping the crap off. I stuck some old inner tube to where it attaches on the fork leg to stop scratching. If the bike goes in the car it’s a bit of a pain with the medium guard, with to forks to the side ie flat to the boot the guard holds the forks off the floor and it takes the some of the weight of the bike. But deffo keeps the crap off  Looks good too. Be digging it out again soon after a very wet Tuesday night ride, but back to summer again last night, strange.

Had em on Conti Rubber Queen UST,and Baron’s, and on Schwalbe Hans Damph’s. Swapped to Maxxis after tearing started on the HD’s. Nothing comes through em. Have Ardent,Ikon and Minion’s. Don’t worry just keep riding

I have a Rockguardz carbon front mudguard in medium length. Very good, but it’s a pain in the car as it catches when the bars are to one side. 2.35 Hans Damph BTW

Lajares in Fuerteventura. I stay here
Two miles into town down the dirt road.
About 300 Euros for the week.
Loads to ride Mtb and road, some of it quite technical. Should be 25 to 30 deg in October and always a breeze so not bad to ride in. Lajares is the home of/ http://www.fuerteventuramountainbike.com/en/about-us/
Jirko one of the guides is also a chef at one of the restaurants in Lajares, nice guy
Been about ten times now and love it with stuff like this to ride-

Spot the singletrack in the foreground, sweet.
If you want any more info my email is in my profile. Btw I have no connection, it’s just a beautiful place.Nice to share.

Been looking at American Classic wide lightning lately. Very good weight wise at 1512g, price not too bad. Just have to explain to Mrs Dhd why I need spare wheels  .Tyres well that’s more difficult. Liking my Ardent/Ikon combo at the moment but don’t know what to try for winter. Have some Hans Damph’s that came with the bike so might try a Magic Mary for the front.Or maybe some Minion/ Hr2 combination.
