So its not the work that's been done that's the problem, its bad driving?

    It says here that

We understand that many people were using that link on message boards to show their images and we are working on a solution that will allow you to post using BBCode (standard message board code) that links back.

In the meantime as above it can still be done

    Recommendations:
    – Don't start with a P7 :D
    – Axiom disc rack seems ok, thought it was heavy but nothing to compare to
    – Cheap ebay bags (brand-X) also not too bad, obviously not as big as some others posted above
    – Topeak bag on top gets full marks

I was half of a pair that retired after 6 hours. The weather couldn't have got much worse in the afternoon and parts of the track were getting so bad that they were plain scary – especially the long rooty 'slope of doom' abour a mile in.

One of the 'slopes of doom' was taped off towards the end with a different route around it. Agree with above though, watching the fastest riders in those sections was amazing.

As for practical measures? To hit 10% we want more people to commute to work. Some employers don't make it easy. There should be steps taken to make employers with more than say 20 employees to provide lockers and a shower.

No mention of anything like that in the document.

Ooh, built-in 'view on black' (the magnifying glass/zoom in button)

Quite like the changes I think

Does it not depend what's written on the customs label? (and it states on their site that they put the actual value on)

I thought the threshold was only about £20 for import tax

Six of us stayed here last Easter, it was pretty nice, 2 minutes from the Afan car park.

I think the same people have got another house nearby as well.

I used the Gusset spacers and gold KMC chain – the £7.50 one not the £47 one – on my P7 and it worked out fine. No tensioner needed with the horizontal sliding thingys.

My speed kings (which came on my P7) punctured all the time, maybe down to my not-so-smooth riding but don't have the same problem with other tyres.

Depending where you're travelling from, the Traffic Scotland cameras might help with road conditions.

There are cameras on the A75 for Kirry and A68 and A720 for GT.

YOU SHOULD HAVE INVESTED IN A GOOD LOCK YOU ONLY HAVE YOURSELF TO BLAME!

You should invest a good CAPS LOCK as yours appears to be stuck on.

Chatting to a colleague as we both arrived on bikes at the same time. He reckons it's the time of year – people have not yet adjusted to driving in the dark, with vision restricted by rain. His view is that it takes a few weeks for behaviour to adjust, and driving to calm down.

Interesting. I shall test it out tonight, as I ride home lit up like a Christmas tree…

Interesting one, for me this week has been especially bad for people not looking – car drivers, bus drivers, pedestrians. I've got 6 lights on (3 front and 3 back), but if no one bothers to look….

Here's hoping it does get better over the next few weeks…

Would it work both ways? Cyclists not to pass other vehicles (eg queuing traffic) unless there is a clear 3ft gap.

Two cable ties, fits nicely on the side of Met Predatore helmet and nearly at the right angle.

Works well along with a light on the bars.
