I have the 2017 trance 2 Alloy version. It’s a great bike, I’m 6’1″ and got a large. The large feels fine on red run type stuff, but a bit small when you tackle the steeper stuff. I replaced the stem for a shorter one. Nearly had it a year and the wheels are still true. Nobby nic aren’t great.

    The suspension is brilliant.

I use it for trails to downhill and it copes with everything.

I had mine set up at the correct PSI FOR my 13 1/2 stone. Destroyed a set of the nukeproof pedals, now have it set at 200psi and it seems fine now. I think you are right, they do leak though, that or they have such small volume that removing the shock pump has an influence.

When people say that they are “running” this fork or “running” those bars.

Why is everyone running? It’s bloody cycling!

Is there not a lifetime warranty? When the bladder in mine leaked I just brought it to Halfords and they replaced it.

Thanks for the answers, is it possible to tape the new hose length to the end of the old one and just pull it through?

Reykjavik was great, the spa at laugervatten was amazing. Hotel selfoss is good to stay in. Some spectacular waterfalls. I went on a wellness tour sold through secret escapes in January.

We have a Cockapoo, both leave the house for 9 hours a day, the dog is fine. I overthought it too before we got one. Just make sure the room the dog is going to stay in has tiles on the floor and nothing you don’t want chewed to pieces. It takes longer to house train a dog when no-one is there, but the dog will learn.

Most importantly, research the breed, get the right dog!!!!! Head over heart!!!!!

    Ok as an N.Irishman/Irishman/British/Ulsterman

Ireland should never have been partitioned and should be united.

As you can see from my national identity above, doing anything about it is nigh on impossible.

Just leave things the way they are, I.e a cluster****

Another fear of mine is how explosive those batteries are, possibly not more than petrol, but I’ve seen the videos of people piercing phone batteries!

So is that a 30 grand loss in 2 years?

    Prob about normal then.

What happens when the reach their estimated battery life?

Edit just saw the supercharging thing.

I always wonder what the resale market is going to be like for these cars. If batteries need to be replaced, I.e half the value of the car. Who is going to take a punt on that?

I think there was a vegan on the phone in. They were ethically outraged.

Yea it is absolutely full of time wasters, sold a few things but it’s hardly worth the bother. Everyone on it seems to want what you are selling for free. Add the fact that I live in N.I and have to deal with Belfast ppl.

If swapping brakes between Shimano models; do I have to change the hoses?

When I went scuba diving I used to hang the keys over the top of the suspension spring. Don’t know how my car didn’t get stolen!

I find it funny that the disaster of partition has caused such a problem nearly 100 years on

To me natural means unsurfaced, as others have said every trail is man made.

Not really a fix but sometimes I take the wheel out and pump the calipers up to a point where the disk just fits in. This gives a firm bite straight away.

I suppose If you can’t possibly lose anymore weight and you are at the top level of sport, yet remain unsponsored, then yes. Those would be my criteria,
but I will never fullfill any!

I couldn’t give a **** whether my shifting is a bit snappier, so many other better things to spend money on.

I seem to be alone with this mindset tho

Same here, SLX seems absolutely fine and is more than expensive enough for me.

I have the Rhythm forks on my trance, they seem great to me, easy to set up, love the through axle. Plough through anything.

Caveat; My previous bike had suntour XCM :/

Yea the thread pitch is a PITA, I think my press would work great if I got some of the washers tack welded to the nuts.

    dougiedogg

Well I got the parts, cost me all of 4 quid and the bearings have been pressed. It was a faff, requiring the odd hammer tap, but it worked. :D

So it seems rubber mallet is coming out on top, I have one too. They are the integrated type bearings, so no worries about logos or anything.

I am great at destroying things though.

Bustaspoke- I see the one you are talking about, looks good I like the bearings.
