A tough one, safe bike storage and decent showers definitely.

With the rest, such as overtime, paid per mile, it isn’t particularly fair on those who, for what ever reason, can’t run/ride to work and therefore wouldn’t be able to financially, or otherwise, benefit from incentives.

Remember the first time I rode that, followed someone else down it so didn’t know what I was letting myself in for.

Got a bit of a surprise to say the least.

Really like mine. Got 3 sets of tyres – the stock cx ones, some heavier duty marathons and some gatorskins so it’s pretty versatile.

skin so soft or smidge and a head net just in case. They may look pretty stupid but if you’re going to be sitting outside for a while, they do the job.

Avoid the Specialized Wedgie. I’ve got one and it’s garbage, don’t know why I still put up with it.

    fairly good guide here:

    Stove top espresso guide

basically, fill water to just below level of safety valve, coffee ground med-fine, don’t tamp, lowish heat, remove as soon as it starts pouring through at a steady rate.

Last summer a couple of friends and I cycled from Strasbourg down the French side of the Rhine to Mulhouse, then over to Basel before heading back up the German side of the Rhine back to Strasbourg.

Absolutely excellent, great food, weather, wine and good routes for cycling on.

Went to a talk by Martin Ford a couple of weeks ago which was really interesting. Trump is an abhorrent man, determined to get his own way.

This is a good read for anyone interested: Paper by Martin Ford

Local jobs, thats a good one. Hence building hostel style accomodation for the employees? Surely that wouldn’t be needed if these were to be local jobs for local people?

As do the sands Trump seems to think that he can stop the constant movement of the sand. But having walked that area for years it constantly changes weekly.

Apparently the northern edge of the dunes in about the ’40s is where the southern edge of the dune system is now.

I live in Edinburgh and am doing my masters in Glasgow, commuting 4 days a week by train. Don’t mind it at all, I usually get a train between 7 and half 7 in the morning, trains aren’t busy from Waverley and quiet enough to work / read.

However, I live in Marchmont and am at Strathclyde uni so I haven’t got a v long journey either end so the total time is fine for me, much further away and I probably wouldn’t be as keen

Was up there on Wed night round the red, couple of slushy patches higher up but absolutely fine otherwise.

I use the canal from Marchmont to Aegon (just down from Edinburgh Park). Really like it, nice route (most of the way), tarmac too and in good condition (sometimes gets a bit overgrown though). Just got to mind out for the few tools that think fit to hoon along the path.

The International Space Station gets pretty cold ( less than -100 degs C) and that is made of Aluminium Alloy and Titanium, so I think we’re fine.

Yeah, but how well would you get on riding it round a lap of laggan black?

It’d be out of this world.
