iirc aren’t there some near the abondoned school just out of the woods?

Been a while since I’ve been down that way and haven’t seen the video so I might have got the wrong ones. They didn’t look that impressive.

And as numerous people have pointed out, it’ll be the insurance excess on the policy you took out.

Only you can know that, unless you just assumed it was the same excess as every other insurance policy you’d ever taken out!

Look on Avis’s website, I’m sure it’ll tell you there.

Again, unless you were specifically told it was a petrol car, I can’t see how your defense of ‘I wasn’t told it was a diesel’ can hold.

I guess their arguement could be, well they didn’t tell you it was unleaded either, so why did you just assume?

It’s amazing these days how often it’s everyone else responsibility but the person who fecked up.

Normally tells you on the key ring when I’ve had hire cars these days what fuel it is.

Or there’s always badges on the back which give it away e.g. TDi, CDI etc.

I guess you owe the insurance excess…time to dig out the hire agreement and read the small print!

I’m a Software Tester, but can’t help in the South East I’m afraid.

Being ISEB Foundation and ISEB Practitioner qualified does seem to get you interviews, but as said, you’ll very rarely use anything you learnt on them.

I believe they’ve changed it now though to be http://www.istqb.org/ though.

Best advice I can give. Mailshot everyone you’ve ever worked with and see if they know of any opportunities. This is how the vast majority of people seem to find work.

So the receipts he scanned as proof of postage were fakes then?

There’s some ambiguity over this. The Post Office say yes. A random member of Bikemagic says no. []

I was thinking more because they still haven’t arrived, than analysis of the actual scanned document/post office inspection.

I wonder if IWH has fallen into the sea, now has amnesia and will reappear in 2 or 3 years time?

There’s a Paul who is down £800 to add to the running total. So nigh on £2k missing.

Isn’t that the Blue_CBRXX chap from BM? In the quoted text on Page11 it said £450, I couldn’t be bothered to go back and read the BM thread.

If the item is that much of a bargain, it’ll still be a bargain for £13 extra.

I think spudulike has summed it up.

I’m confused who’s bike it was. Was it his, that he’d had robbed previously, or was it the one he borrowed?

“David Cameron’s bicycle has been stolen again – less than ten months after he got it back.

The Tory leader borrowed a bike from his Parliamentary aide to get to prime minister’s questions.

The silver and black Scott bike was chained to railings near his home at 0710 BST but an hour later it was gone. “

    Thanks MrTall

I’m in Manc, but if I’m passing before the deadline at the end of the month I may well take you up on the offer.

Mmm, I’m a 36″ jean….goes off to look up inside leg measurements for cycling.

Ok MrTall, what’s your inside leg measurement? (I’m 36″)

    Thanks for your help.

    Found:

    Spec Rockhopper
    Kona Kahuna

and if they can get any brand:

    Haro Mary XC
    Gary Fisher Cobia

any others people can think of?

Cheers guys, trawling through the sites now. Some shops don’t like as a 29er though, so unless I knew the Kahuna was a 29er I’d never find it.

Live in Manc, and commute out.

If you’re driving it’s against all the traffic and it’s cycleable as above.

I did this for 3 years whilst working in the Birchwood business park.

Park on Ordsall Lane (or one of the steets of it e.g. St Clements Drive).

    10-15min walk to the ground.

Easy access to M602 after the game to get on your way back to Newcastle.

I live down that way, so I know it’s fine on Match days.

Just remember, where ever you do end up parking, don’t leave anything on display in your car and you’ll be fine.
