We had Kye Whyte and Emily Hutt down at our BMX track yesterday before they fly out this week. Lovely pair who engaged with the kids and supported our club on it’s 10th anniversary.

Lando didn’t come across very well in his conversation with Hamilton in the warm down room either. Totally missed that he was giving them a compliment and breaking the tension in the room.

Hamilton called it a racing incident. As far as I know, he’s not a Redbull employee

No but he is very media savvy!

Thanks Murray…that’s the 4 pin version but I’ll have a search for the two pin.

Just let him know it’s an issue now and that if it isn’t collected by 14/07 you’ll be getting a scrap collector to remove it next week.

And be careful if you’re riding a bike of any value along the Fallowfield loop and other areas of Sth Manchester. Plenty of bike jackings have and continue to happen.

Yep, I feel like I need the peace to unwind after dealing with the kids, so by the time the house goes quiet at 10ish I always stay up longer than I should.

I don’t sleep great either at the minute, so wake on and off from 5ish and get up knackered.

A 2011 Skoda with 250k on it….no one else will be paying more than scrap value for it.

What is he offering it to you for?

Remove all the cement board and mortar and spend 30mins fitting dry verge and you won’t have to keep patching it up as bit after bit fails.

I’ve watched them all but no longer via the links here.

Coming on well, keep it up!

Seems to be a lot of chatter about Sainz to Williams. Would seem a shame if they don’t make something half decent for him to drive.

Curve ball suggestion that may appease a 21yr old….BMW Z4 or are you wanting something a bit newer? They’re peanuts to buy and insurance might be reasonable despite appearing otherwise.

Correct, just update the registered keeper online. You should be able to do it without increasing the number of previous owners.

Depends on reasonable walk. Park in Firswood or northern Chorlton and it’s only a 10min walk or so.

Dacia sprang to mind reading your post. As others have said, Petrol over Diesel preferable for shorted journeys.

Seeing as we’ve lawnmover peeps in, I’m having a bit of trouble with mine….HOT starting.

Fires first time from cold, stop to empty the grass cutttings and it won’t restart. Have to wait 10mins before it’ll start again. Any ideas?

Last year it had plug, fuel filter and new carb. Emptied fuel over winter.

    Mine’s a Webb WER400

It’s a Carlsbro CDS-120. School focuses on Brass, he’s been learning the cornet but fancies having a go at drums.

Does your mate own the car, or does he need to clear the finance?

They’re not trying to use you as a way of getting themselves out of a massive financial loss are they?

If you’re serious, it’d be WBAC lowest offer with a bit knocked off…but with depreciation and hassle I don’t think it’s worth your time/effort. You won’t find many private buyers in 9mths time and will need to price accordingly.

Whereas my 10yr old daughter loved the football museum. I thought it was well planned out. Lost doors has the boring memorabilia stuff, but as you go up the floors it gets more interactive.  Penalties in a Wembley goal, VR gaming on the top floor etc. we had a great time.

Parking over the boarder in Salford used to be cheaper than Manchester but the options that others have mentioned at the end of Liverpool St or under the arches off Liverpool St near the canal are good options.

I’d be joining some McLaren (if there are any) or Pistonheads forums and advertising there if you really think that route is a goer.

What penalty for breaking it though?  Says she’s worried about not being employable in motorsport in the future but it feels like that so may have already sailed.

Why would she have signed a legally binding agreement like that? Nothing in it for her.

We had no bother getting in or out really. Arrived about 9am and had 10min queue from Coach Road. Directed to a central grass area near Clay Hill to park which wasn’t too bad. I did move later in the morning to a space just off a gravel road in the same area so I knew I’d be able to get out if the grass got churned in the stampede to leave.

However, the second GT race was still Full Circuit Yellow with minutes to go and so we started walking back. As we got close to the car it was still Safety Car but only 1 lap left so we darted and got straight out the circuit without any issues.

Heard knickerbrook was particularly bad but I just think people don’t think. People were driving onto totally boggy areas presumably without thinking how they’d get out.

Thanks for all the tips, we had a great day despite the weather and the fact a large part of the races were behind safety cars.

    His favourite spots were:
    – Cascades (we saw a few offs in the GB3 racing here and across at Hislops)
    – Lodge/Deer Leap (where we were closer to the cars and saw GT3/GT4 overtakes heading through Deer Leap.
    – Dentons/Clay Hill (just because you can get close to the track when they’re flying)

Much to his disappointment we didn’t get stuck in the in field parking despite being in a rear wheel drive car.

At full chat his favourite engine note was the Astons.

Clattenburg still getting it wrong in his refereeing as well. Giant didn’t drop his stick, he used Weslies podium to stop his fall.

Sounds like a lot of you have fond memories. Fingers crossed we get decent enough weather and he enjoys it. We’re both looking forward to it.

Info above is great, so we’ll get a bit of a plan and check out info on radio broadcasting.

Also has double headers of GB3, GB4 and Ginetta’s so should be plenty to keep us busy.

    Thanks again!

Said it was all very straight forward and easy.

I would try and get my money back as £11k buys an awful lot of Mazda6 estate.”

Was this a joke? I have vague recollections Renton had issues with a Mazda 6 Estate about 8yrs ago (or was that someone else?). Something to do with paint quality iirc.

Also, didn’t Mazda and Ford share some parts etc/collaboration between Mondeo’s and 6’s. May have been earlier than the models we’re talking about here as I can’t remember.
