Not got a iPhone as yet, but there does seem some cracking cycling type apps around, but concerned the battery would not last on rides.
    Has anybody had experience ?

SilentSparky, i have a lot of experience of seized seat stems and what i normally do is mark the stem at the bottom with a black marker, so if the stem moves at least you know. Cover the top of the stem with a strong piece of wood and using a really heaver hammer / mallet, wrack the stem downwards towards the bottom bracket and normally this will start to break the bond, secondly if you can rig up a 3ft / 4ft pipe connected to the top of the stem and whilst somebody is holding the frame try and lever / twist the pipe around, unscrewing the stem out of the frame.
    Good look !!

Brought one of these last year and what a gadget !!

I use mine for around once every month, but only for chains.

Don’t think people realise, but the inner of the ultrasonic is stainless steal, so all year round i keep paraffin in it and every chain is like new after around a 15 min soak.

Sorry folks, but i can’t do without a ultrasonic now 😆

Most asthmatic people are troubled by dogs that shed hair, I’m sure Bedlington’s do not shed and are very clean house dogs.

Don’t use it on the mtb though

I have always use my “500” for all three bikes – Get yourself spare mounts and use this to protect scratching of the units glass on your MTB :

If you use eBay again, a lot of serious eBay’ers pay the extra 6p and have the auction finish around 10 pm on a Sunday evening, it’s a great time to have some bike goods finishing 😀

You are right, i did the same with my carbon forks on the 561’s, but think you will aways get a round mark on the paint as you have to tighten the rack to the forks quite tight, its really the only thing keeping the bike on the roof apart from the back wheel strap.

Still think it’s by far the best rack money can buy, how many other bikes flap in the wind on the motorway on other crappy racks, got three 561’s and use them all the time, never a problem…..

To be honest you will not get anywhere quick with this type of accident, “patience is a virtue”
Got completely wracked of my road bike by car driver “Sorry mate i did not see you”, police and ambulance called and taken to AE with just plenty of cuts and bruise’s, but nothing broken. Bike was a expensive LOOK and carbon pedals and forks snapped. I got all the information off the police regarding the car driver and thought it would be a simple claim, how wrong was i !!!
I use to ring his insurance company every Tuesday regarding progress, but after months and months i decided i was getting fobbed off with excuse and excuse, now i have contacted a solicitor through CTC, and i could not believe how professional and serious they have taken my case, and only now after some six months i can see some movement and light at the end of the tunnel…..

When it comes to carbon seat posts, never ever smear post with grease !! After a few winter months the post will weld to the frame, honest.
