It’s a Turbo Training floor mat, got it tucked under the back trim and trapped under the back seat for a smooth and tight finish, fitted originaly for the cross season.

Anybody that is into cycling, outdoorsy stuff, it’s the perfect vehicle.
Gone from the owner of eight years with a Audi Quattro estate and now onto my first year of owning a Berlingo XTR, i should of got one eight years ago !!
Wanted four things, Stress free bike storage (With all wheels on, something to sleep in, must be VERY economical, and never, ever wanted to change gear with a stick again (Semi Auto) 🙂
The only stress i had was the coffee cup holders being to small, French don’t like BIG cups of coffee 🙄

Thanks for the reply Marge, will get a few addresses for some local camp sites and might even look over the event center on the Saturday and see if i can sleep in the van and eat in the village, it looks beautiful.
Really looking forward to the weekend…..

    I went for a 2014 XTR E-HDI 1.6 ltr and “Town” driving i’m getting 50 mpg.
To be honest, yes there is some lag with the auto box / turbo at junctions, but once you get use to it and the whole way you drive changes to a stress free environment.
I have gone from 9 years driving a Audi Quattro onto the Multispace and i can not fault it, apart from one major problem, it’s not brilliant on thermal coffee cups fitting and have had to adapt using a plant pot !! 🙄

Once you get use to it, faultless and very stress free, still has the flippy paddles for semi auto, but it’s not a sports car and never use them.

35 years of driving and got to the stage that i was completely sick and fed up with changing gear with a clutch pedal !

The old days of auto boxes are long gone and the auto box of today have certainly upped their game.

Very newly acquired, Berlingo Multispace, should of bought this 10 years ago !
Wanted practicality, carry bikes with wheels on, economical and didn’t want to change gears ever again 🙂

And everyone calls it a van…..

I have had the same problems, until i had VERY good advise.
On fitting new bearings, the cups from the frame had been taken out and cleaned. where the cups go on the frame, i smeered “Tub glue” and let to dry for 24 hr, then pressed everything in.
Never had any issue now in one year

A lot of riders use the plastic from a “For Sale” board, some plastic ties and a couple of bull dog clips and this might just give you food for thought …..

Have fun, watch them contours and don’t be greedy and late back ! 😆

The “Dark and White” events are fantastic and have been run for absolutely years by like minded cyclists and runners.

Some of my best Peaks two and three hour MTB rides have been on a Trailquest / British Mountain Bike Orienteering event, it can get really competitive and a great way to find new bridleways.

Thanks for the posts folks, just wanted a Alloy De Rosa frame for a winter trainer, the training frame is ideal as it has the mudguard mounts, but only comes in white !! Want a black frame, thanks for the photo link Nobeerinthefridge, yours is a belter, think will buy the frame from Wiggle and just take a chance on the clearance, can always return it 😀

Thanks to “njee20” you have certainly gave me food for thought, after far to many nipples snapping on my LB carbon builds, i’m going to buy all the items myself and get a wheel builder to build.
Going for Extralite SPD hubs from Europe while the Euro is still good 😀

Can anybody tell me of a UK contact for 38mm Carbon clinchers rims without brake surface ? Done a lot of searching but not much showing up, don’t want Zipp or Enve pricing ……
