It’s the Fisherman’s Retreat. Steak from their own herd, proper pastry, a lake of gravy and a mountain of chips. Just the job if you’ve walked over the moors to get there.

Some of their stuff is very nice. Not been for a while as it seemed to get expensive. Shame as it’s only 2 mins from me.

Here’s us riding around some turbines

I love the turbines. They’re presently putting more in. Good. I can’t see people objecting on the view-spoiling front as its a northern post-industrial landscape full of disused quarries and derelict mills

My local ride, I believe. Scout Moor?
Cockersdale on mountain bike! Wuss. Try Brier Wood on a droppy!

Landed on my head on a tree stump in Briar Wood. Totally lost any memory of that day. It was 2 weeks before my wedding, she was not happy with the damage to my face.

Beef dripping of if you prefer, Mucky fat. Anything with "mucky" and "fat" in the name has to be wrong.
Had this on a recent cruise we were on:

Haven't been able to find it here though.

I'm sure I've had that here. Someone bought it for me as a multi pack type thing last Christmas. I'll try to find out where it came from. Was rather nice.

(1961Bikie I have the same fears when the rain comes down really heavily or a blustery wet night.

Approaching Saddleworth Jct22 where the lanes merge from 4 to 1 – I have seen some horrific driving and a fair few accidents on that barrier-less spot. Funnily not once in snowy conditions…)

Been in a crash there myself.

Travel that route every morning and night and it was clear at 6pm.

ohh, and not interested in 2strokes, my experience of them is;
-noisy
-blow up

Do you not mean 4T? as that describes them better. Although I have a 250F with a 290 head on it.

I just looked and the tickets were 38 quid, maybe we're looking at different things.

I got 5 for various people and they were all £38 each. I know they were some on ebay more or less straight away for £150-£200.

Batley runs its near neighbour Dewsbury pretty close.

I agree Batley is not the best but I've worked in far far shitier places. Some areas of Leeds and villages in South Wales, Batley is not even close to those places.
(I was born in Batley by the way)

The producer was on radio 5 yesterday. Apparently the rest are not all snippets, but follow some kind of topic.

We had a 06 plate 2.5 130hp T5 at work. Had a new turbo and clutch at about 120000. Got rid at 150000, still ran really well. Only other problem was I crashed it a couple of times

Our cat also brought one in a few months ago. Sat watching TV and heard this funny clicking, after a quick search found it under the table. I caught it in a shoe box while our lass looked on the web to find out what to do. It said to ring the local 'bat man'. He came around 2 days later, we kept it in a shoe box in the spare room. He went in for it but it had got out, finally found it, bit him twice. He left but haven't heard anything since. Never seen one flying around near us though.

Maybe linked, when we got our planning permission through for an extention the only condition was to stop work if we found bats. I searched all the related planning applications in the area and none mentioned bats.
