Sons of anarchy is our new breaking bad. Daft in places but watchable enough. Can’t argue with a wee guy from byker grove.

Off to the docs with you. Viral labyrinthitis gave me similar symptoms. Built up over a week when I felt vaguely faint and slightly dizzy. Escalated to extreme motion sickness. Banned from driving. Couldn’t read. Couldn’t look down or to the right.
Only time I felt normal was being a passenger in a moving car.

I think you need to give folk a chance to see you before they kill you.
in saying that, the one time I was walloped by a car when on the bike, I was wearing reflective gear.

I’ve been to both, for me Rome wins hands down.
Expensive city, though everything around the centre is walkable. Enjoy.

I also thought series 4 would have been a fine place to stop bb.

to replace it we’ve seen American horror story series 1. twin peaks weirdness.
weeds. I could only hack 2 episodes, too much like 90210 with marijuana.
now on son’s of anarchy. just cottoned on to what Sam crow is!

Helps if you have a car that nags you constantly about faulty bulbs. They do seem to go on my volvo way more than any other car I’ve ever owned.

a few years back the verified by visa thing emailing me was what alerted me to my cc being done. totally pointless system, I could never remember the password, it allowed you to change it there and then and happily carry on. it was always emailing me to tell me I’d changed my password, till one morning I def hadn’t. phoning the bank direct is always the way to go though.

I use a timbuk 2 for my commute. Have 4 of them in total, I “needed” co-ordinating colours :)
even survived a big slide on my back after a slight accident the other week, virtually unscathed. Never had anything get wet either.

I picked the whole lot up from ebay for much cheapness.

I liked this article about differing marketing styles to women:-

I joined totalwomens cycling forum, traffic wise it’s just not that busy at the moment. I guess its fair to say that proportionally less women do cycle. Although that seems to be changing judging by the number i see on my commute.

The pink thing doesn’t phase me. If its pink and I like it, i’ll buy it. If it’s pink and i don’t i’ll get something else.
Seen lots of pink accessories on guys bikes, chris king headsets and the like.

Not sure i’ve ever been slated for being a female on a trail or on the road. If anything it’s the opposite. Getting kudos just now for beating a male colleague on a strava segment.

I don’t think you can go wrong with getting on a grad programme, especially in these times.

I’m 12 years in after my MEng, although I’m still with the same company, I’ve worked on lots of diverse projects up and down the country from military, uavs, ships and now civil. It is what you make of it, I can’t fault the training I’ve had.

erm……. it sounds like you are both of those things

Does it? maybe its the monster within! Only with myself I think.

Still would never turn up at a race though. If i was being competitive, I’d lose the backpack, the pump,…………might try that next week :)

I’m coming back from labyrinthitis, good to see some sort of fitness coming back, and have a record of it. Otherwise i’d always assume i was garbage.

I’ve really been enjoying using strava. I’m not competitive, no interest in racing or anything like that. It’s been useful to see where I rank and where I need to improve. More than anything, I like having a record of all the miles I’ve done.
