Depends how cool it has been
I have some in a cool garage that worked fine several months after expiry date.
I think they have extended the shelf life.
They now say and maybe originally did that you should keep it in the fridge

Do you really want a camel back in those conditions?
I guess if you only have one set of bottle mounts it might be the only option, but also a source of sweat itself.

Have a look at fox baggies as they come with a rather strange fishnetty padded liner for extra summer ventilation !

ps in Hong Kong athletes foot is also known as “milky foot”. perhaps not quite the same but it gets you to the right isle of the pharmacy.

Nearly new fairs are brilliant, loads of virtually/actually new stuff nice and cheap.
For some reason buggies dont sell well at those fairs, we tried to get rid of one and there were loads unsold at the end of the day that I bet could have been taken with a really cheeky offer.
If someone had offered us £20 we would have taken it.

But mostly, if you dont buy brand new top of the range it does not mean you dont love you kid or could not afford it, just saving your money for the fun stuff.

I dont think it has been pointed out above that the Sony Nex range is not micro 4/3 – it uses bespoke Sony lenses.
However the screen was great and flipped up which I thought was really useful but I found the graphic images for the controls a bit grey and spindly which I thought would not be read easily in the real world.
    also flash was bolt on

I ended up with the GF5 with the collapsing X lens and integrated flash which makes it nice and small. The screen it good but does not flip, but it is touch screen which does make getting at some of the controls very easy.

To clarify the Mazda light sequence is slightly different from others.
The light is solid to begin with where you should try to regenerate it then it goes to flashing when you should stop.

I got my Mazda 6 DPF regenerated for £150 by the mazda dealer.

According to the manual if light is flashing then you should not drive it.

I dont know what can be cleaned/regenerated and what cant. Mine had a funny episode with the cruise control earlier in the journey so I think the blockage was fresh – rather than built up little by little.

Waterloo trains on the line to Portsmouth are very empty at 7am. I think I am right in saying that the Portsmouth line (Surbiton / Woking etc)is the most oversubscribed line in the county – which would suggest if that is OK then the Reading line would be fine also.

Think car seat belt – allows a slow year changing pull but a quick chainslaping jerk will lock it out.

A3 out of town in the mornings is fine as long as you are past tolworth by 7.15 (dont know about the Tooting to Tolworth bit)
Strangely it was fine past there at 9am last week.

But if you are looking to get onto the M25 then the A3 M25 junction starts to clog up much past 7.00.

Bikes are allowed on trains heading out of town during rush hour

32 is way to young to hit a career ceiling – the opportunities (if real – as above) need to be taken.

    But are kids imminent?

Tiling has held up pretty well over the last 5 years.
It is completely bedded down so no voids under the tiles – on a concerete base so very well supported underneath.

I use a car trolley jack on it and have dropped some pretty big things on it.
I am not saying it cant be or wont break, but it is doing a pretty good job so far.

Flooring first – before you fill it.

I tiled my garage floor with 30cm tiles on special from wickes
I think it was £70 all in – including 75kg of adhesive

Nice bright white moppable floor where dropped things can be found

For a small cheap and dirty system have a look for Kevin (Grand Designs) Mcloud’s home made shed progam.
He made a crude composting toilet that collected the gas and fired a cooking ring.
How much gas was produced and how safe / reliable it was is another matter.

Do you get weighed on the return journey as well :?:
After a week in Egypt you could be in-line for a big discount on the return leg. But a trip to Disneyworld could be more expensive than you expected. :-)

I am trying to find out about this stuff too but

Some speed controllers come with a BEC battery elimination circuit
    BEC

a motor marked 1000kv actually means 1000rpm/V (unless anyone want to correct me)

The hoby king motors at least show you what rating speed controller you require, but some electronic speed controllers need programming and I really dont know about that bit.

It was a lot simpler when you just had a Tamiya 360 (or 540 if you were feeling rich) with a fancy variable resistor.

We got our Dad a supercar driving day which was fine albeit a little disorganized. (That the cars needed refilling with fuel at lunch time appeared a surprise to them), but my Dad was not really comfortable thrashing a car he had just stepped into. I wish we had gone for the classic car version where he could have simply appreciated being in an Aston DB5.

Did a similar route last year (with a few interesting diversions round Peaslake) but agree that full suspension is overkill.

But there are some open chalky doubletrack descents that we did which I think are on the BHF route. They are fun and tempt you to go fast but did result in a broken spoke and cracked rim on a hybrid hardtail bike.

You might consider getting some 1.5″ fast rolling tyres on the camber

I think we had our first night terrors last night – not a happy event – child was inconsolable. To anyone listening in, it would have seemed like we were just ignoring.
I probably would have reacted badly to banging on the wall.

The best scam of the bike operators is to get your money by showing you a good condition full sus – but when you get out the van at the top you are presented with a Halfords special with sh99y brakes and bald tyres.
Decided not to bother making the detour to do it after hearing that.

I recall looking a while back ( a few years) and was put off by price.
If it really is a drawer full, it soon adds up.

I also found a bunch of slides which would be useful ( I know maplin do a slide scanner for £40 or something like that.

Most of the photos were still in packets with negatives attached – could these give better results? (might not fit your machinery)

Which brings the final point of naming – and dating , whilst it does not have to be that accurate date of photo taken is used as an index in picassa / iphoto etc. something better than undated or 1/1/70 needs to be input, just to break them up if nothing else.

What resolution could you realistically expect to get?

essaouira is kite surfing capital for a reason – its windy
if the wind is powered by the difference between the sea and the land temperatures- the sea is Fxxing freezing (too cold for a pleasant swim) and the land bit is the sahara.
It can get a bit tiring after a while.
Kite surfing lessons are Western priced at E50 per lesson

    Sounds about right on Max

Each LED draws about 10 watts + 90% efficient driver so 33+ watt demand from light
    7.2v * 4.4Ah = 30 watt hours
but even if the capacity claim is true it is measured at much lower current, capacity will be less at high current drains

    Edit
If it is a 6 cell pack then you should have nearer 45 watt hours

We have one in a 70s town-house – We knocked a chunk off the asking price when we bought the place with the intention of replacing it but several years later we have not got round to it.

The only reason we might change is that the small bedroom / office on the ground floor does not heat up much as the hot air would have to go sideways and down to heat the room. Also the boiler does take up a huge amount of room compared to a wall mounted “normal” boiler.

The other reason I think that the systems are popular in the US is more homes have basements where the boiler can go which isolates the sound of the fan and makes the distribution of air to the ground floor much easier.

We were getting quotes for £8k+ to replace which would be bad enough but the thought of ripping up all of the floorboards to install the radiators puts us off more.

I use trek bar end lights – the MTb ones
Pretty happy with them but there was a bit of plastic over the end with “trek” cut out that I removed as it blocked a lot of the side view light.

I would be happier if they used aa batteries not aaa
And the switch is a small flush button so hard to use with gloves

I am booked in to drive a golf tomorrow, am thinking petrol ATM. It will be interesting to see how the petrol car delivers its power, I have got used to driving a 1.6d focus and appreciate its torque at motorway speeds.
Whats your fuel payment like – I used to just submit receipts for work milage, if I was half a tank away from home I would still fill the tank so there was always ‘a bit’ left over for private milage, but I did very little private milage.

Last weekend I saw the new Hyundai i30 and it is a good looking car with nice interior, got lots of good reviews definitely worth a look, might drive that on Saturday
