    I did the Ex last year. 3 days & £300. Single location so less overheads for organisers.

    Thanks for asking OP. I’m about to sell a medium carbon 29er YT Jeffsy and this is and this is a great way of doing a stealth ad very helpful.

    Perhaps we could have a thread of just stealth ads?

    For reference you need a T10 security torx driver for the stop plate screw & an 8mm spanner (luckily I have both).

    I like the idea of being able to shim the length down. Currently have 150mm reverb with just under 20mm of post showing. 170mm OneUp could be an option.

    From the Ranger on the 19th Dec;

    Y Mynydd #DH is now back fully open again, machine is off site Cwmcarn Forest Drive and reinstatment work will start Jan 3rd on the #Cafall trail also, no date yet for a ‘phased’ reopening but we will get it done as soon as we can. Happy riding everyone!

    I’ll check those out (however I’d rather pay a bit extra and have a warranty).

    I think it’ll be more a chase of keeping an eye of gumtree/ebay/classified and see what comes up locally. At that price point I’d definitely want to collect.

    29er Orange @ £630 looks ok for a start..(not mine)

    +1 for a Yeti 5. The bike I judge all other bikes against (my son now has mine).

    Looks like our local Labour MP (remainer) is gearing up to run as an independent. He may be deselected as he backs a second referendum. We have Airbus and Rolls Royce locally which Brexit would shaft. Danger would be a split Labour vote would allow in a Tory Exiter.

    I got a 5010 V2 in the Black Friday sales. I haven’t noticed any issues. I just used the recommended air pressures and cracked on. Will use ShockWiz In New Year.
    Had a Corset on my Yeti 5 which transformed it. Not certain the 5010 would need one.

    My hope is Scotland leaves Uk for EU. Then says anyone born on the island of Britain can have Scots EU passport.

    Channel 4 news this evening – Did I really hear that Northern Ireland costs the Uk more than our membership of the EU? Mind blown if correct.

    The EU must be very close to telling the UK to ‘do one’.
    From Sweden to Spain the Far Right is gaining power, France is rioting, Germany has a coalition made of paper, drown children are washing up of the beaches of Greece and we think Brexit is important to them.
    It isn’t.

    LTM are fine. Mate has just bought a Hightower from them.
    The passport thing is very Spanish. In Spain you need to give your ID number just to order a gas bottle / redeem supermarket points.

    And if less than 50% of the population riots we can ignore them.

    I had always assumed a ‘Norway’ would be the fall back position. I hadn’t realised Norway don’t want us (and can veto us).

    Also;

    “If as I understand UK politicians do not want to be ruled by regulations coming from other countries, why would they accept a country with 38,000 citizens like Lichtenstein being able to veto regulations that the UK wants. That would be the reality.”

    If it’s a quick drop off then just double park in front of the Evans spots. Worst case there is the Rupert Street Car Park (NCP) just behind them (follow the one way scheme around the back).

    I’ve had both Rotor and Hope PF41 (30) bottom brackets. The Hope was nicer and more expensive.

    Twice as good? Maybe not.
