Rebound in Bolton do a basic service for £40. I’ve used them and all went well.

I’ve just spoke to Aviva. Their Plus plan covers anything (including bikes) in a garage or outbuilding to the full value of the overall coverage (ie £100 000). No minimum security other ‘locked’.

    3 bed semi Bristol £200 / year.

I tried to get a quote from Aviva but the on-line tool doesn’t ask about bikes. I’ll give them a call tomorrow.

Pedalcover give great coverage (bikes insured world-wide not just at home) but was looking for a slightly simpler / cheaper deal.

The garage is separate to the house.

    If you are near Bristol;

Are you a parent, carer or do you work with 14-17 year olds that you would like to see engaged in more physical activity.

We wanted to create more opportunities for young people who are currently inactive (get less than 30 mins exercise per week) to get out mountain biking. And we have some funded spaces available in our new club!

In partnership with West of England Sport Trust (Wesport) we are starting a weekly after school mountain bike club.

    <div class=”text_exposed_show”>

To find out if your child or children you work with are eligible for a space get in touch with ollie@pedalprogression.com. Or even better, drop me a line on 01179731298.

Old car tyre. Stuff with chicken wire then fill with concrete (needs to be done in sections). Easy to roll / move except when chained to bike. Rubber tyre means hammer has little effect to try and break it.

My 11 year old daughter asked me last night why Banksy is allowed to do graffiti. How do I answer that? When does the line cross over from criminal activity to celebrated artist?

When the wall is worth more with the graffiti than without.

Corbyn will be quickly trying to work out what red line May still won’t cross, so he can ask for that.

I think it is reasonable to expect a professional working environment. The fact that the office is part of your bosses house makes that harder.

You need to chat with your boss and say you dont feel its professionally appropriate for children to be playing in your work space in the evenings. You find it very stressful and not very professional and hope that he understands.

I built up a Blast for my son and my daughter has a Orbea MX24.

The MX is a nicer bike and getting 24″ wheels for the Blast was a right pain.

If I did it all again I’d get another Orbea.

I think the lad above underestimates how pissed off Labour remain voters are with Labour (I’m one).

Maybe if it had stuck to trade then there wouldn’t have been this problem.

I not certain you can separate politics and trade. Let anyone sell anything to whoever? Child sized leg-irons to the Saudis? GM chicken? Cheddar from Newcastle?

Bristol North West here. Cracking young remainer Labour MP.

Not certain I could vote for Darren and have Corbyn take it as a vote for him as well.

Would the SNP like to do an outreach program south of the wall?

We could always revoke and then redo Article 50 giving us another 2 years to play with.

Getting anyone in EU to return our calls after maybe a bit trickier.

If there is a general election Labour, I think, are in for a bit of a shock when they call upon the party faithful. My neighbours have been members for over 40 years and have always helped deliver leaflets and knock on doors.

    Not this time.

They are remainers and fairly left of centre but just couldn’t / wouldn’t defend Corbyn on the doorstep. We have a great local MP but its very hard to separate the two. It’s all getting very ‘the wrong lizard’.

Man who doesn’t believe in freedom of movement for other people buys team which freely moves around Europe.

I have run out of rude words to say.

I voted remain but accepted the leave vote.

The deal offered is worse than what we already have. Why leave with a worse deal?

A lot of us are saying don’t then leave.

Just leave with no deal and sort trade out deals. End.

    2 + 2 = 5

Our current ‘deal’ is being members of the EU. May’s deal is worse as it’s 2 years of paying for membership but with no voting rights and 95% of the leaving terms still to agreed (kick. long. grass. can.) Leaving with no deal is different again (WTO and zombies).

    more prosperous?

For the 1%, quite possibly yes.

For the bottom 50%, very very unlikely.

For the middle 49%, most not, but some will gain.

    But as a whole, no.

I’m trying to find out if the air shafts are different between models.

I have a Mavic Crossride hip bag. I have an inner tube strapped to the back of the saddle and pump, levers, tool in the bag. It’s ok. Not quite as staple as I’d like but ok. Fine for a quick local blast.

The best MTB hip pack you can buy

Haggis – Have you seen the price of FSIEs these days!

    x 10 our budget..

Wagger – would rather more bike than scooter (personal preference).

I had a Garelli KL50 which was never road legal and used around local farm tracks. My dad was working away at the time and would come home at the weekends with another new bit which we’d fit together.

Thanks for the offer but I’ll be looking for a bike later in the year (his birthday isn’t until November and we are in the process of moving house).

How long have you had it / what are they like?

The new house only has a small garage so not enough space for a car (and the plan is for a cheap as possible scheme). It would also be over 2 years wait to use.

We used our Spanish car hire in Portugal without issue.

If you take the motorway across the border into Portugal you will need to swipe a credit card at the first tolls. There are signs and booth on the road side. Some toll sections in Portugal have only number plate reading cameras and just bill you as you pass.

If not, you have to do it over the internet later the same day and it’s very painful.
