every time, lump in the throat and dust in the room (I think the first time I heard it I could have swore he sang “I couldn’t feel her”…..bad time to hear that and it just stuck)

And this, takes me right back to 92

nope, not just you, I love it and I wouldn’t call myself a massive Gervais fan.

I’ll openly admit, when the old woman died it got very dusty in the Dogbert household

my personal favourite, car price states £999, then you look at the blurb and somewhere it will say “car is actually £5999” all so they can get it to the top of the list

Reminds me of the time many years ago when I took my car to a kwik fit like place for an MOT, ik learned my lesson quickly.

During the MOT the mechanic walks back into the waiting area to tell me the machine that tests the brakes is broken, but not to worry, they had another method of testing. Looked out the window to see the younger mechanical ragging the tits off the car round the car park. He came back in five minutes later with a failure notice stating I needed a full new braking system. Told him to stick it, took it to another garage and it passed-tried exactly the same with my sister (who fell for it, the thick cow) dad stored down to the garage demanding to see the parts they took off not 15 minutes earlier and amazingly the bins had been emptied

Years later and I’ve used a garage round the corner from me who are a small chain (about 10 garages) and they’ve always been fantastic, even replaced a horn that was replaced a year earlier as the guy said he thinks it may or may not have been faulty free of charge

I for one look forward to the first court case where some prat wipes out a family on holiday and a couple of cyclists because they were taking photos to be uploaded to Facebook while playing farmville and try to blame their glasses for not having 3g

Spraff on about budgets as much as you like. There is a special room set aside in hell for **** like this who spend their days deciding whether it’s financially viable to give someone the care that might save their life. And to top it off, to have the sheer arrogance to say they’re not going to resign? He goes to the front of the line for the hot poker.

State sponsored murder that they will turn a blind eye to because it’s all boys together

As someone who lost his hobby after Dunblane (and I fully understand why the new measures were put in place) I can see it from the gun owners point of view. What’s needed is a sensible approach with all parties coming to an agreement on the best plan for moving forward to try to make their country a safer place to be…..but by all parties, I mean just that.

It’s easy to blame it all on the access to machine guns but there are way more factors that need to be taking into account rather than just blaming the NRA for the ills that America suffers from. There are plenty of countries around the world that allows their citizens access to guns, allows them to defend their property and themselves but not the extent that America does.

Also doesn’t require a license but kills more people a year than air rifles

A the Raleigh Strika for me too, but in black:

niche as you like, singlespeed, triple clamps, comedy bars. Never got to upgrade to a BMX which I think may have scarred me for life……but I wanted one of these:

I have an old T reg Bora and when it’s solid it’s solid…..when something starts to rattle, it’s like opening a “pass the parcel” parcel trying to get near anything. VW seems to add something then add another 3 layers for good measure

excellent, thank you, that all worked except now my second image wont load. Still further than I was because the first one will, just got to figure out why the second won’t load (then obviously I can expand the number of images)

Do I need to repeat the code?

(I’m sure I could probably just download a plugin, but that feels like cheating)

This might be the best answer to the iphone arguing I’ve heard

I was discussing music with my mate yesterday harking back to when we would swap tapes, hear about new music through Melody Maker and go search in the local record shop……he ended the conversation with “Internet, smart phones, wish they’d all just **** off” :D

I am, at this very moment reading This Is A Call: The Life and Times of Dave Grohl. It has given me a different insight into the whole Kurt Cobain/Nirvana myth (not quite the “I don’t want to be famous” personality everyone thought)

I’ve come to the conclusion I only really like books about music

I was hell bent on getting an iphone this upgrade, until I played with the 4s in the shop versus the HTC I eventually got and the Samsung. It’s horse for courses, but I (personally) find Android more intuitive than IOS (and I have an ipod touch so I’m no stranger to the format)

What troubles me more about Apple products are the lengths they go to. the phones in the shop were locked down, they werent allowed to open a box to let me have a go with one. Having also read a review on the latest Macbooks, which you can’t even upgrade the RAM beyond 2gigs without ripping the thing down to its component parts It makes me wonder what they’re playing at.

The tech is behind most other products on the market, although a comment on Wired yesterday made me laugh “Apple don’t have to tell you what RAM is in the phone, they just need to show you a video of it working and that proves it works”……..er, no, I need to know what I’m paying for.

Anyhoo, i’m enjoying my HTC, and I’m paying £10 less a month on a comparable tariff to what I would have taken had it been the iphone (and the phone was free)
