    I’m kinda with the OP

I used to find books boring and couldn’t get into them. Now, I do enjoy a good book, but i’m not one of these types to read for the sake of reading, nothing wit pictures of speedboats or harriers on the cover. If it’s been recommended by Richard and Judy then it’s unlikely to make the list.

I do enjoy books about music and film, factual stuff, political science, science………but my favourite this year has to be Why We Suck by Denis Leary…….if you like him this will have you in stitches

I use this as I don’t have a computer, I tracked 16 miles yesterday and it was pretty acurate even through some secluded spots, so I have no complaints…….and my mates on it so I can challenge him which is nice

Don’t go to these shows after going to one in Aberdeen about 10-12 years ago. Promised big things, me and a couple of mates dove 3 hours to get there to be met with a half empty hall and the Clan team faffing about on some pallets.

They suit most people and if it gets more people cycling then great, but charging 6 quid for parking over the ticket price is a bit of a scam

You wouldn’t have so many uninsured cyclists if Diana was still alive…….bloody foreigners, ban the burka, women and gypsy’s are pedo’s and Hitler was my mum

Sounds like the Daily Mail to me…….Fox news but 50 years ago

i’m still unconvinced about the whole troll thing. Do people really sit around trying to come up with questions on the net designed to provoke a reaction?…….and if they do, what do they gain from it?

apart from the odd one here and there, been off for 3 weeks

(ok, i’m sure the odd one here and there doesn’t count as “given up” but 2 or 3 over 3 weeks rather than a total of roughly 420, i can’t complain)

Been off them just over two weeks, after 3 days i felt fine apart from feeling angry a lot more than i usually do.

Have found that i want to cycle more for some reason but that may be down to trying to keep my mind occupied

hmmm, seems another sneaky tax on it’s way. The next thing will be number plates and tax discs, then a 75% tax on tyres.

Why is it though when MP’s get on their soapbox about something they only states what they want to state. You never hear them using the story of “The Darwin award waiting to happen who spent more time texting than checking to see if it was safe to cross the road is the reason for this bill, yes she/he had their face buried in Angry Birds when the cyclist ploughed through them but had the cyclist used Hayes brakes instead of Hope and had a Spongebob Squarepants bell, then this blight on society may live another day to vote on Britain’s Got A New Untalented Bum-hole”

Won’t someone think of the uneducated children

    Please don’t dogbert.

For all the obvious reasons along with the fact we’ve spent a lot of money on trademarking our logo out of necessity.

Not that I don’t find it funny though but I have to worry about this stuff.

No worries, seemed like a good idea at the time but in all honesty I don’t think i would had any made for the reasons you say…..I will however say I was quite please with the response.

However, it would be nice if you’s done a line in stickers for the car and other places (my mouth as the wife would say)

I would so have one of those on my car, but I’ll be amazed if you het the go ahead from the-powers-that-be. Nobody really wants their carefully nurtured brand associated with the words, “Whiny Cockbag” do they?

That’s exactly what’s putting me off having any of these printed

    dogbert

You could get them printed and delivered for under £1 each

Where? I’m tidying up the picture on photoshop as we speak (awaits e-mail from mods)

I just read some massive explanation (search Donnie Darko Explanation, first site from Google) and apart from making me want to watch it all again, it made it all the more enjoyable and “bake your noodle” subtle.

But then i like to get tottally blinded by madcap theories on time travel

Its a puzzler right enough, and i just spotted Seth Rogen in it, it’s like Fight Club, you have to watch it twice to really appreciate it

I watched the Bill Hicks Story last night it was pretty good.

Got this on Blu Ray the other day, fantastic, always loved Bill Hicks, he really should be alive commenting on the state of the world today.

One of the easiest jobs on a car

except for Renault who seem to make the hub and brake disk as a single unit on some of their cars

And Jeep, my mates a mechanic and to change the rear discs you have to remove the rear axle

I have a Bora 2 litre Sport, thought “oh this will be an hour job” Turns out the Sport comes with the same calipers that’s on the S series Audi’s, not as simple as slipping out pads and popping them back in, the whole caliper comes apart.

After an hour and a half of swearing and hammering I got one set in then dropped the car off at my local garage, got them to do the discs at the same time, then wept at the cost

Put a sandwich near your bed before going to sleep. If you are too fat you will not be able to resist it in the morning, if you are not too fat then you will be fine to leave it.

I used to get offended at comments like that, but that genuinley made me laugh

    A new bike
    A Gibson guitar
An old motorbike to stick in the garage and tinker on
Someone to do the slabbing in my back garden that i’m putting off doing myself

Although happiness at not having or wanting any of those things would be better than having them

How exactly, the OP asked a question to which they require an answer.

Surely every question raised in a forum could be interpreted as a troll?

I like Audi’s, always wanted one, especially after I got passed by one of these at the weekend and spent a few minutes drooling:

Is this just one of those “Start a *insert make of hated car here* argument thread” Seems there’s one of these every three days on here lately.

The jury is undecided in the rkk01 household…

lets face it, that family exists for one reason and one reason only, to give us something to shout at, if it wasn’t for grandpa dearest and his crazy off the wall and misinterpreted remarks being taken as gospel by a bunch of easily led simpletons who happened to pass some exams and become the second biggest scum of the earth, lawyers, we wouldn’t give a rats crap. They would just be “those people barred from the pub for being homophobic”

We all need a hate figure, they’re the hate figures, trouble is they’ve also understood that the more people they piss off the more air time they get to spout their dumb ass opinions.

I did wonder what would happen to a member if they got cancer (did they mention that) I would presume by their reckoning they’d be ostrisised fromt he church?

Aks instead of Ask……even Patrick on Eastenders is saying it

Random (I bumped into this random in the pub, some random walked up to me)

Actually (I was actually so hungover, It was like actually so hot)

Literally (It’s literally monday….etc, etc, etc)

to be fair, some people buy bikes based on recomendations from their friends or what looks pretty, not everyone buys every magazine going or hangs around on forums.
