we’ve all had great years out there when the pound to euro was 2:1. i’ve just been to tignes and yes it was more expensive than previous years but that’s just tough. You can check lift pass and ski hire prices online you know and it doesnt take a genius to work out how much it will cost. If you can’t afford it don’t go. Let’s be honest finding your ski holiday was more expensive than planned is not real hardship is it?

Anyway the snow is better than it has been for years – go ahead and enjoy if you are going. And yes if you choose to eat at mountain top restaurants and get bladdered every night it will cost you an arm and a leg. I spent no more than 10 euros per person on lunch at tignes this year so not too bad on the whole.

Oh yeah i aggree, 70’s uk cars were awful( my dad had a brown allegro estate-yuk!) and the unions do have themselves to blame from the red robbo walk out on strike in a instant because they werent given their fag breaks. Well at least france are propping up their own industries and looking after their own workforce. If things do really take a dive honda toyota nissan etc could easily pull the plug on the uk to look after their home interests. As much as you all hate U2 it’s easy to knock the biggest bands. Yeah Bono is a tosser with his human rights nonsense etc – even other band members hate it and let him get on with it. whilst he is likely to irk some, if he chooses to use his celebrity status to try and bring some good it’s gotta be better than being a vacuous celeb like paris hilton.

I also commend U2 for being the only band who have been commercially successful and relevant over a 30 year period with new material( not simply plugging the back catalogue)I can’t think of anyone else so i may stand corrected

You should contact your PCT in England ( primary care trust ) or LHB in wales ( not sure what the equivalent is in the other principalities) who should have a list of NHS dentists currently accepting patients. If an emergency you should phone them tomorrow and find out how you get treatment in urgent cases

If desperate eg abscess pain contact your out of hours GP provider/nhs direct or if no joy with them a+E

weather was perfect down here, still and clear blue, i was out about half an hour before the crash and it couldnt have been any better for flying

There by the grace of god etc. I know that the people 1st on the scene saw unimagineable sights of carnage. It will take them some time to get over this. My thoughts are with the families of those killed and those lay people 1st on the scene.

Anyway i’ll tell you a story about my new mount vision, when i picked it up like you it didnt fit on the carriers, but while trying to fit it on i noticed a dirty great crack in a weld by the shock mount. To be fair ATB sales were excellent- apart from one woman on the phone who shall remain nameless- but then again 2 grand bikes( or any bikes for that matter) shouldnt get to the dealer with cracked frames. I think it’s called quality control. However i love the bike.
