Ha, I did wonder if I needed a caveat at the end.

Plenty fast enough to stream ANYTHING. Hands up who’s got a home ISP connection that is > 200mbs?

Not many in the UK I bet.

It’s all to do with priorites.
Yes Cat6 fully wired with a gigabit switch and integrated faceplates is great but then it doesn’t cost £20 does it.

But if you’ve got money to burn on stuff like this to listen to some tunes and stream a bit of tv, fair dos.

We’re getting the whole place rewired and networked at the same time ‘cos, well, it seems daft not to.

Network your house?? Seems daft to me. Why bother when you can use the ring main and as many Powerline adaptors you need. buy a pass through one and you don’t even lose a plug. Otherwise you have to put network plates everywhere you think you might need ethernet and think about future proofing.

Have both on your network preferably using Ethernet but wifi is ok. Share the pictures folder on the old one and connect to it from the new laptop using its IP address. Plenty of guides how to do this. Then do a simple file/ folder copy.

    Fastest way.

I normally wear gloves all year round. As a result of this here thread I thought, you know what, the OP might have a point. So I set out today with no gloves as it was so nice.

Mistake. Not a massive one but a definite mistake. The nettles round here have shot up this last couple of weeks and some paths are very overgrown with nettles. And my hands got it bad.

But then so did my shins, knees and forearms. I’ll live.

    Wyming brook…Motorways? No it isn’t.

its more overgrown than it was 20 odd years ago.

If it wasn’t clear the first time.

The Sheffield side is being left alone. (having had some work in the last few years).

The rocky challenge is being removed. The silver lining is you can sometimes get a nice jump from a drainage channel.

That was really ace. I was at school with Will and remember Peaty from a Rother Valley race back in the early 90s. I’m sure he beat me even though it was XC. Really enjoyed that, think I will have to purchase a copy.

Hi yes, Mojo have confirmed it is a recall and will fix the forks. Thanks for the advice.

If I’m thinking about this correctly (and I don’t know fork internals that well)it appears the damper is broken and all the oil has dropped into the fork leg? Is this fixable at home?

Has anyone else had this happen? The forks have been in use about 16 months. Were new in February last year.

come to think of it, should it be holding the seal head assembly inside the cartridge body (tube). (see diagram)

I’ve taken the open bath (older version) apart before and don’t remember it looking like this.

Beach is Brown water with groynes, but Southwold is very civilised. It’s ok but having been there I don’t ever plan on returning. Depends what you want from the sea. If it’s cliffs, rock pools and golden sands then it’s no good

How about getting some new ones?

That just isn’t true. Up high on the border of France and Switzerland it is VERY rocky.
Nothing the peaks has comes even close, no where near, it’s brutal.

I punctured and then later tore the sidewall of my nobby nic.

Get some high rollers, they are what I ride and will be much more suitable.

Wish I had taken some high rollers and not been naive.

How you do add extra float fluid? Depress the valve and wait whilst it drips in I guess. Just looking for confirmation.

Deore LX existed way before 94. The tufftrax was a mixed bag of components if I remember correctly.

Deore thumb shifters and a 7 speed hyperglide cassette was what I was jealous of whilst riding my 18 speed suntour montage.

Body found in Windermere to me would suggest the town and civil parish in the South Lakeland District of Cumbria.

And the irony of the Lake District not having many Lakes. Perfect Pedant world.

There are better but the section until the black tails off is good. Once you head back south from the top it is a little bit of an exercise in distance but, its off road riding, with no gates, cars or gimmers in red socks and walking poles. Wish it was on my doorstep.

Microwaves are good for very few things and rice isn’t one of them.

DannyB and glasgowdan have the right idea. The longer you leave the cooling down period the nicer it gets. Will stay warm for up to an hour. I usually slick the grains in a bit of oil or butter first but don’t think this makes a big difference.

The not having a jury is interesting. Normally, celebs seem to get off. OJ Simpson , Steven Gerrard etc etc. Not that he murdered anyone.

    The Forgotten Soldier

Is a good read too if you like that sort of thing. I got it bought for me last century, got round to reading it a couple of years ago.
