i just swapped my dt wheel for a hope with dt rim cos the the freewheel was on the way out, mine was missing quite alot and couldnt be arsed with fixing it, so went for what i really wanted – a noisey hope! sounds sweet!

you could change bb length, but the way i have done it before was to use some washers on the chainring to move it in a bit

I would save your money and get profiles, have had other dmr cranks and had profiles and would go for profiles any day.

dont think you can run normal tyres tubeless, but you can easily run normal with tubes, so you might as well buy some new tyres as well – your already in trouble so you might as well continue!

yeh, doesnt really ruin it, plus surely you have another 2 on the bike so you'd just have pedal harder!!

wwll i've never had a problem with them and i have used them for years. ordered a hope rotor on tuesday and it was here when i came home today, well happy with that.

i went to puremountains in july wast year, it was hot, but by no means unbearable, best riding i have ever done. they tailor the type of riding to the time of year and there are pleanty of opportunities to replen your water etc.

all the suggested ways in my opinion are good, but how about a pedal spanner and plan the kind of ride beforehand, only takes a few minutes to change them.

i'm sure there is alot of power in pulling up, and clipless systems are alot more efficient than flats. i would say you are better with just going for the spd pedals with a large flat. also u might be able to use "power grip" straps – google that and you'll know what u mean.

instead of using army gortex (i would not wear uniform out of work!) i am cutting down some old snowboard pants that i got from tk max a few years ago, they normally have a few in that are cheap at the end of the season.

this looks a nice set of lights with good reviews, where have you been ordering from? funny how they look almost identical to my lupine and even the battery and holder look the same, only difference is the connector 🙁
